Have you got any money to spend on your engine now you’ve spent it all on your driver?
reg commented on the post, Tost tells Abiteboul to "stop complaining" about B-teams 2 years, 6 months ago
I understand that Dieter and Keith are managing the narrative of an overall discussion regarding so-called “B-Teams”, but in reading the FIA transcript, it felt more like Tost was hitting out at Zak Brown’s poorly […]
Fully agree with this assessment

Bottas had a quiet confidence only to show he wasn’t all that. I’m ready for either result.

It’s been all downslope since Barrichello ran JPM off the road at the US Grand Prix in 2003 and JPM got a BS penalty for it to put him out of the championship. Followed up by the Walrus FW26 and there was no return.
reg commented on the post, Hamilton won't be appreciated until he's retired – Wolff 2 years, 8 months ago
Is Rosberg more appreciated than before he was gone? Try and find any compilation video featuring Rosberg’s best overtakes, the results are disappointing. The guy was a fast driver, but he wasn’t a racer and it […]

+1 — This seems doable if he could get behind a electric drive factory supported car
reg commented on the post, Hamilton vs Schumacher – and more Formula 1 stats to watch for in 2019 2 years, 9 months ago
The 2006 Hungarian Grand Prix – I still remember watching the wheel nut come off Alonso’s Renault and screaming with my wife, “Jenson is going to win a race!!” The US announcers were having a whale of a time with […]

I was thinking along the lines that in a Massa style accident with flying small debris, a windscreen would be approaching 100% effective, while the halo is probably somewhere around 10% effective.
I would […]

I was there! Hunter-Reay got caught in traffic when he had to make his final stop and it was enough of a delay to let Sato get the overcut! The Rossi and Newgarden teams blew it on strategy by pitting during the […]
reg commented on the post, Ferrari yet to decide Raikkonen's future – Camilleri 3 years, 1 month ago
This is not same situation where they kept Massa around for three years longer than they should have. Kimi is a fully serviceable number 2 and Ferrari shouldn’t bother rocking the boat, he still has the speed. I […]

Nice play there. :)
Then we could get intermediate and full wet tires that would actually perform well in the rain!

Agree. I look at Williams now and feel McLaren will be fully in that state in a few years. It is a sad end for the former great teams of the 80s/90s.

Love seeing this, but disappointed that they’ve updated the W07 livery from 2016 to 2018 spec.
