Riccarr commented on the post, Hamilton clinches championship in style, Rosberg accepts defeat with dignity 7 years, 6 months ago
Had Nico won, I don’t think there would have been so many comments along the lines of “he deserved to win the championship”, or “he was the best driver”. Of course there would have been congratulatory comments, […]

That’s a good call out, and it worries me, too. One sector is not enough to catch up and pass if LH gets behind Nico.

Isn’t there something too, to be said about not dummy’ing down the system too much? I mean, shouldn’t they have to exercise a degree of competency and skill on their own, managing their speed and position in that […]
Riccarr commented on the post, Alonso hints at "obvious" plans for 2015 7 years, 7 months ago
Two options I see …
He stays at Ferrari, with a 3 car line up: Alonso, Kimi, and Vettle.
Or … he goes to mold the HAAS team for 2016, using Ferrari engines. One of these two is going to be the answer!

I’d put him going to HAAS in the short list of potentials.

He’s already said that it (the car) will not have a Merc engine in it.
Riccarr commented on the post, Lotus to use Mercedes engines from next season 7 years, 7 months ago
However, now with the engine “unfreeze” for 2015 I think that is going to upset the apple cart. We should not expect Mercedes engines to continue to be so dominate starting in 2015 now that the other engines are […]

There was a radio message where he specifically asked about turning down the engine, a few laps after passing Vettle.

dragoll … you’ve overlooked a couple important facts. LW lost all his lead gap from the safety car. He then had to make back all that lead gap before he could pit, and he did that on old tires.
I think he had […]Riccarr commented on the post, FIA to restrict team radio messages from next race 7 years, 8 months ago
When you say “I understand the ban to team radios like “brake later in turn 9, carry more apex speed” and things like that. After all they’re drivers, they should know how to go fast.” …
That’s right, and […]
Riccarr commented on the post, FIA to restrict team radio messages from next race 7 years, 8 months ago
Personally, I am quite surprised at the amount of “this rule is stupid” comments being displayed here. I think a lot of people are taking the intention of FIA’s comments to an extreme and then commenting on that. […]

Lewis may have asked for advice on occasion, just like any of the other drivers; however he is far from being the abuser of feedback that some of the more offending drivers are.

I have to agree here on that a bit; both of them seemed more interested in managing pit control than just doing their job and racing on track. NR’s ego has him to the point of wanting to managing race control as […]

You guys are out to lunch on that “Nico’s proving a point, don’t push me around, and LW will learn his lesson”. That’s baloney crap! You no nothing of competitive driver mentality.

Am I missing that you guys are aware … or are you guys missing the point?

Maybe it’s because they don’t want to see a flat-line, live on TV, at accident time?

Was great to get a honest good heart reading from track side, as opposed to someone who feels they need to be sharp contrast just to be different.Riccarr commented on the post, Magnussen top on debut as Red Bull woe continues 8 years, 3 months ago
