What I’ve read: “MOOOM.. he took my toy away! He’s so annoying! I want you to punish him!”

Roberto commented on the post, Hamilton: I gave Rosberg space to avoid contact 8 years, 9 months ago
Rosberg needs to teach us all how to tell the future! You know.. how he knew that touching another car would not wreck his front wing and would with a 100% certainty puncture Hamiltons tyre. He sure is a powerful clairvoyant.

Reading a lot of these comments it does seem like it ey? I’m actually giving up posting proper responses to it now. From what I’ve read it’s:
“My driver didn’t get his way because of a racing incident?.. and […]

LOL, the level to which some ‘fans’ are willing to sink to is actually quite amusing.

Yes and Nico was the all-seeing eye and could foresee the future where his wing would be intact and Hamilton tyre would shred.. nicely done!

Wow, seems to me what Hamilton lacks in mental strength on the track he makes up with in Mud-slinging and playing psych games off it. Never in a million years would Rosberg say that, even if he DID do it […]

There’re awful lot of assumptions in your comment. I just believe that what separates winners from losers is that they always believe they can get something out of a race, they don’t give up. One safety car and […]

I never said that it’s the only time, but it would be an example where I could understand it. Booing a racing accident is you not getting your way and being a baby.

Roberto commented on the post, Ricciardo wins, Hamilton retires as Mercedes rivals collide at Spa 8 years, 9 months ago
The same moment the first radio message came through where he wanted to retire the car, a new ‘Best Lap’ was displayed with Hamiltons name. Just shows the ‘no pace’ argument is rubbish.

Because, as I’ve said in an earlier statement, it devalues the whole sport and paints the fans as spoiled children. “My driver didn’t get to win.. he got taken out..” BOOOO-HOOOO..
-
Roberto commented on the post, Ricciardo wins, Hamilton retires as Mercedes rivals collide at Spa 8 years, 9 months ago
Yes, but it also doesn’t change the fact that it wasn’t deliberate. Booing here makes fans seem like 5 year old children who didn’t get their way. Devalues the whole sport.

I was referring to Hamilton throwing in the towel when a Rosberg would still race full-tilt to selvage something. Hamilton showed his weakness today.. and it’s got nothing to do with his racing ability. He needs […]

While not spoiling the image of spa it surely casts a lot of fans as hypocrites and sore losers. TBH it’s something I would expect from NASCAR fans, not F1 fans.

That was extremely smart driving from Vettel. There was heaps of space on the right for Magnussen, so it wasn’t like what Shumi did to Barichello in Hungary 2010. It was purely to psych Magnussen and it worked. […]

That took my breath away. Extremely fine driving, especially by Vettel! He was so calculated with all of the overtakes during that fight that he made Alonso look ordinary. I’m only mentioning him here because once […]

@kpcart, I assume so. If Hamilton was leading by 30 I’d doubt he would have the same stance.

He is just saying something out loud what SOME of the Hamilton fans can only express through booing, pointing fingers and being hypocrites. Hating the ‘German’ seems to be their thing.

Actually, Nico showing hunger (and not asking for retirement when there are still chances for points) is what Lauda should value. At least if he doesn’t want to be a hypocrite.

Yes, but Nicos mistake could’ve cost him the race as much as it did Hamilton. We’ve seen this with the Alo/Vet accident in the last lap. Attacking Nico to this extent and booing him is just below the belt.

Roberto commented on the post, Ricciardo wins, Hamilton retires as Mercedes rivals collide at Spa 8 years, 9 months ago
Yes I agree and we’ve also seen many such accidents in the past where the person losing the wing ended up worse off. Nico made a mistake, yes, but he didn’t do it on purpose to take Hamilton out. Booing him for it […]
