There was certainly more racing in that first race than the first race of the World Team-orders Citroen Championship which followed straight after. It seems MG have sorted much of their wet weather problems and that everyone else seemed to be struggling a bit.

Foster can run with the guys up at the front on a good day, I’ll give him that.

I was at the track this morning so I’m not up to speed on everything that has been happening. Good to see the VWs up there but the problems for Motorbase continue. There isn’t really an incompetent driver until the second half of the grid so the races tomorrow should be good.

One small statistic of interest to come out of yesterdays races, with Lopez and Loeb winning the record of nobody winning in Morocco more than once has been preserved. There have been 10 different winners on the streets of Marrakech.
