People a few races ago were writing Schumi Jr off as a flop with nothing but a famous last name, pointing to mistakes and lack of wins, but I thought he had been pretty unlucky last season with reliability and […]
If it snows they won’t race, quite simple really
Complete borefest. Let’s stop testing at a circuit we also use for a championship round, and also let’s stop racing at circuits that are boring and full of medium speed corners that these cars cannot follow and […]
sam3110 commented on the post, F1 may scrap plan to bring softer tyres this weekend following punctures 2 years, 4 months ago
Just stop 2 or 3 times then?! The tyres are the same for every team, if softer tyres, higher temperatures and shorter tyre lifespans mean max stints of 20 laps then so be it
sam3110 commented on the post, Perez ruled out of British GP after testing positive for Covid-19 2 years, 4 months ago
Hulk is a foot taller than Perez, and isn’t a Mercedes reserve driver, so I can’t see him stepping in. It’ll be Gutierrez as that will appease Mercedes, the hoardes of Mexican sponsors on the car, and will allow […]
sam3110 commented on the post, More new races may come to F1's overhauled 2020 calendar 2 years, 4 months ago
If we were to get races in Hanoi, Turkey, Malaysia added to Portimao, Nurburgring and Imola, and then a double header at Bahrain on differing layouts and a finale at Abu Dhabi, what en epic calender that will turn […]
Have they released what layout of the Portimao circuit they will use yet? I personally hope they use the Bahrain Turn 1/2 style layout, with the tighter hairpin at Torre Vip to aid overtaking opportunities.
I hope they also squeeze Portimao into the calender, it’s a great track with a lot of interesting corners and undulations

If the car was 9 tenths slower than last year, why don’t they scrap the 2020 car and go back to the 2019 car?
Oh boo frigging hoo Hamilton and Mercedes, Albon was ahead of you by the time you hit him, and he went into the gravel and ended up plum last whilst you carried on trouble free, and it’s the second time in 3 races […]
And it’s an article on a F1 game, which is still F1 news. Don’t like it? Don’t click the link, it clearly states what it is in the headline
True, but the modelling for it will be different, tracks on GRID etc that also feature in other titles feel different, Silverstone for instance is in F1 and GRID but aren’t exact replicas of eachother. The graphic […]
My only concern is how different the season ends up looking compared to the original one that forms the basis of F1 2020.
Double headers, different circuit layouts or even entirely new circuits altogether […]

Pipedream, neither have a full grade license do they?
Portimao, Jerez, Hockenheim, Mugello, Imola are all possibilities though
sam3110 commented on the post, F1 considering "a couple of potential new races" for 2021 2 years, 7 months ago
It’s far more likely to be the Miami track and then a circuit already built that has the relevant license, I’m personally in favour of a race at Portimao or a return to Turkey or Malaysia
2. He will equal it
6. McLaren, Renault, Racing Point
14. 1.1 seconds
