Scott commented on the post, Stewards investigating 11 drivers after end of Austrian GP 1 year, 7 months ago
I wonder how much of this is from the teams complaining about any little thing to get their rivals to loose positions. Are lawyers included in the cost cap ? LoL
Scott commented on the post, The urgent questions F1 must answer following Grosjean's fireball crash 2 years, 2 months ago
Yes, what if the driver couldn’t get himself out of the car. An indycar safety crew with full gear would have done better than a couple of well meaning guys that pull up in a Mercedes.

Scott commented on the post, Lawrence Stroll also tested positive for Covid-19 2 years, 3 months ago
It’s possible in his weakened state he caught it after initially getting sick with something else or were these ‘false negatives’ testing errors? seems strange only when he returned did he test positive.
Scott commented on the post, No investigation over Hamilton's Breonna Taylor T-shirt 2 years, 4 months ago
Agree it’s a slippery slope to allow politics into sport. What about other drivers that may want to champion different causes on the podium. Free Tibet….. or if let’s say another driver puts on a police […]
Scott commented on the post, Vettel didn't say a word to Ferrari on his radio throughout qualifying 2 years, 5 months ago
Well it’s just speculation but perhaps he was told prior to not be so negative on the radio and he’s in a ‘ don’t say anything or I will be seen as complaining ‘ kinda mood. Or something like that.
Scott commented on the post, Hamilton 'not comfortable' agreeing new contract amid mass job losses 2 years, 6 months ago
exactly, he wants to wait for things to recover so he can maximize his 3 year deal. His delay does nothing for those laid off.
Scott commented on the post, Di Resta to serve as McLaren's 'standby driver' for Silverstone 2 years, 6 months ago
I’m shocked that so many lawyers in F1 this wasn’t covered – every team needs a reserve with an active super licence. maybe in normal years it’s rare enough that multiple teams could share a FIA qualified […]
Scott commented on the post, Grosjean: Up to eight F1 drivers did not want to repeat same 'end racism' ceremony 2 years, 6 months ago
I think it should be optional for drivers that feel strongly to honor whatever they wish or not. There are so many sub movements now which will be honored and which not ? Why not covid victims, front line […]
Scott commented on the post, After capping their budgets, F1 teams eye limits on drivers' salaries 2 years, 6 months ago
I think drivers can make a difference but not a big a one as they claim as we’ve seen with Alonso and others going to ‘lesser’ teams and not putting the car on pole. The aero and power unit have bigger […]

exactly – put your helmet on and drive.

I’m sure his desire for knighthood has something to do with it. He’s not wrong but he is making it all about himself.
Scott commented on the post, Detection loop replaces kerb to enforce track limits at two corners 2 years, 7 months ago
Agree some grass or astro turf something that safely looses grip and deters cutting the track. If it wasn’t an advantage drivers wouldn’t be out there. I don’t like this well you get three then a warning and […]
Scott commented on the post, Who was the greatest F1 driver of all time? 2 years, 11 months ago
exactly, if we’re opening it up to all motorsports then Mario Andretti is firmly near the top in my opinion
Scott commented on the post, F1 season opener still on as more series cancel races due to Coronavirus 2 years, 11 months ago
that’s not a bad idea actually Phil. There are esports out there, perhaps liberty would rather host something in iracing for example with all the real F1 drivers at a circuit they might miss and broadcast that […]
Scott commented on the post, Poll: Has the point for fastest lap improved the racing? 3 years, 5 months ago
Agreed, F1 is such an engineering series. This is one of the little things back in the drivers hands. With all the fuel saving tire saving wait for my engineer to tell me what to do races, this is a little bit […]
Scott commented on the post, IndyCar confirms 36-car entry list for Indianapolis 500 3 years, 9 months ago
I think the the 500 being a month long event there’s alot of engineering that go into setups etc and that favours the big teams which also have several cars and more data.
Scott commented on the post, Three-car teams? Three new teams? No easy answer to F1's shortage of seats 4 years, 4 months ago
The Virus of team orders would only get worse with 3 car teams. “yeah you’re doing great there in third, you don’t score points anyway so just hold up Vettel as long as you can”.
The solution to Toto’s problem […]
Scott commented on the post, F1, IndyCar or just WEC for Alonso in 2019? 4 years, 5 months ago
I imagine you meant that last point in Jest as Indy car isn’t run by Bernie, there’s no side money for special people. You get paid based on where you finish the race. (what a concept :) ) Now Maybe a big […]
