You should probably at least know what Marc Marquez looks like if you’re going to post this Keith.
A pity you don’t watch MotoGP as the racing blows away anything F1 has offered for years.
DK commented on the post, 27: Patrick Tambay – The Ferrari Years review 6 years, 2 months ago
His two most improbable grand prix victories that came in 1981 at Monaco and Jarama had him with the #27.
Even though he used #12 longer, Monaco 1981 perfectly encapsulates Gilles the driver. To win at that […]
DK commented on the post, Engine rules to remain stable until 2020 6 years, 6 months ago
Mercedes wanted the hybrid units for a reason. They knew their R&D was so far beyond anyone else that no one had a prayer of catching them. People are hoping Ferrari does better this year…I bet you Mercedes does […]
DK commented on the post, F1 urged to delay 2017 changes by a year 6 years, 7 months ago
The racing since the introduction of high degradation tires has been dreadful. The past few season have been even worse. I don’t know if the 2017 rules would have fixed much outside of perhaps us finally having […]
DK commented on the post, McLaren has worst season for 35 years after Honda reunion 6 years, 8 months ago
Since the reason for capping the engine use per season at 5 before grid penalties was to keep costs down, Honda clearly must have been spending a ton of money on the engines this year.
I would love to know […]
DK commented on the post, Very high rating for US GP as Mexico's return falls flat 6 years, 9 months ago
This has been a generally very forgettable season outside of Hamilton winning his third title…and even the entire process that it took for him to win was rather devoid of any suspense. Last year at least he had […]

Absolutely not, I don’t need to see another circuit ruined for F1.
DK commented on the post, Red Bull 'prepared to quit F1 after Abu Dhabi' 6 years, 10 months ago
Ferrari actually went 16 years without a championship as they won the constructor’s title in 1983, and then wouldn’t win it again till 1999. Sure the driver’s title drought was 1980 to 1999, but the WCC matters […]
DK commented on the post, Red Bull 'prepared to quit F1 after Abu Dhabi' 6 years, 10 months ago
lol, a company as large as Red Bull has had all of those contracts written to their advantage, not the other way around.
There wouldn’t be any civil litigation because no company like Red Bull would agree to […]
DK commented on the post, Mexico's Peraltada corner renamed after Nigel Mansell 6 years, 11 months ago
Too bad the circuit has nothing left that remotely evokes why Mansell’s pass was so great.
Another silly circuit layout.
I feel bad for the kids today who watch these terrible circuits. They will never know […]

It’s just one of those curveballs life throws at you, but man, I can’t help but think what a waste.
I dislike most of what constitutes modern F1, but Jules was the first time in a long time I was genuinely […]

DK commented on the post, Imola could replace Monza as Italian GP home 7 years, 2 months ago
Few bits of information…
The last round of upgrades/renovations to Imola got it back into FIA Grade 1 status.
The F1 layout would be nearly the same as 2006, however the run from Rivazza 2 to the […]

That’s what happens when you have nothing more than a tire lottery.
It wasn’t racing…it was a crapshoot designed by Pirelli.
DK commented on the post, F1 is heading for collapse, warns Mosley 7 years, 4 months ago
Always amusing to hear Max talk about F1’s financial woes, since his illicit deal with Bernie in 2000 is the exact reason why 50% of the grid is broke, and will remain broke for as long as the rights are bounced […]

Really a shame about Gerard Ducarouge. He was one of the preeminent car designers in F1 history and did amazing things for teams that did not have the biggest budgets. His Ligier JS11 looked destined for the title […]

Audi is never getting involved in F1. They have said as much over the years, and said again the other day that it was another rumor that had no validity.
DK commented on the post, Caterham F1 ownership "not clear" to administrators 7 years, 9 months ago
It’s delusional to think Mercedes is actually supplying equal engine software to the teams.
What stops the teams is that the Mercedes engine techs are the only ones allowed to touch anything with […]

@tifoso1989 Alonso to McLaren is a done deal. He’s only going back because Honda wants him, otherwise there is no way Ron Dennis lets him back there after 2007.
