Kovalainen was half a second and 8 tenths quicker than those on the second row. The other Red Bull cars finished nowhere in the race. The other Toro Rosso had nowhere near the race pace of Vettel, and […]SimRacer commented on the post, Mercedes confirm Hamilton didn't cause his car failure in Q1 4 years, 6 months ago
Ferrari is not only the most well-rounded car for all tracks (2017 car as well)
This year maybe, but in 2017, Mercedes took 15 poles and 12 wins out of 20. That says all you need to know @amg44SimRacer commented on the post, FIA defends Vettel's penalty following Hamilton criticism 4 years, 6 months ago
So the conclusion is that Vettel was marginally better than Kovalainen. great.

Yes, because a proven World Champion and a driver who could be leading the championship if not for mechanical issues are “mediocre”. And Ricciardo who is being out-qualified every week is currently doing so much better.

@carlosmedrano – Yes, and he has a far better record than Villeneuve in any case.

Actually the Webber/Vettel crash won the title for Kimi Raikkonen. Had Webber and Vettel finished 2nd and 3rd, Raikkonen would have been 5th, and Hamilton would have won the title.

Which older spec cars? The last three years with the narrower cars Mercedes were overwhelmingly dominant. The final year before the hybrid era Red Bull were dominant.
