I have a theory about that – I suspect they haven’t done so already for two reasons:
1) Keep the driver focussed on driving only.
Up to now they haven’t *had* to have this information themselves as the […]

I expect that those teams with the large McLaren displays can implement some sort of Codemasters F1 game style graphics for things like the tyres where it would show all four corners and the colours would change […]
Steve Freegard commented on the post, How can Mercedes defuse the Hamilton-Rosberg row? 8 years, 5 months ago
The message most people received from Rosberg was slightly different. For me it was: “I’m willing to cheat, to get what I want”. And it’s not the first time he’s sending this message either.
Indeed; I thought […]

Is this the same Colin Kolles that attempted to blackmail and extort money out of Toto Wolff?? … [sarcasm] Nice fellow [/sarcasm].
The only good thing about Caterham is Kamui Kobayashi even though he’s been […]
Steve Freegard commented on the post, Rosberg lucky not to retire as Hamilton did – Wollf 8 years, 7 months ago
Exactly – I agree with you 100%
He should have been on the podium and could have potentially won the race. Instead he made a raft of mistakes and ends up crashing into Perez. For a driver of his experience […]

Yeah – I agree.
I think Massa should retire. He had the speed to be able to get on the podium but he couldn’t keep a cool head and get a decent exit onto the straights to use his tyre advantage to get past the […]
Steve Freegard commented on the post, Did Rosberg deserve penalty for chicane cutting? 8 years, 7 months ago
If you think that was an unforced error then you need to try some karting and put yourself in the same position… get yourself out of that armchair ;-)
Steve Freegard commented on the post, Did Rosberg deserve penalty for chicane cutting? 8 years, 7 months ago
So you wouldn’t complain if it had been the other way around and it was HAM cutting the corner to keep ROS behind him?
/sarcastic too
Steve Freegard commented on the post, Did Rosberg deserve penalty for chicane cutting? 8 years, 7 months ago
Agree with you 100%
He did what he did because the track layout allowed him to without penalty which is why he pushed the limits with his late braking.
Steve Freegard commented on the post, Did Rosberg deserve penalty for chicane cutting? 8 years, 7 months ago
Yeah – exactly this. HAM was doing the only thing available to him at that time; he’d closed the gap as was as closest as he had been so far in the race trying to pressurize ROS into a mistake; which is exactly […]
Steve Freegard commented on the post, FIA invites "competitive" new teams to enter F1 9 years, 1 month ago
Let’s wait and see. Personally I’m going to be watching it provided it airs on a channel in the UK that I have access to.
I don’t actually mind the noise or look of them and if it makes it past a few seasons […]
Steve Freegard commented on the post, Should F1 drivers be forced to make two pit stops? 9 years, 2 months ago
For goodness sake what a stupid idea. If you want drivers to make more pit-stops and allow for alternative strategies and make more exciting races: BRING BACK REFUELLING!!!
I love watching the old races on […]
