@snowman I really don’t think there’s much to gain with discussing these issues like you do here. Neither I nor Heath are trying to prove these things about Schumacher to be true. Nor is Heath saying everyone in […]

@snowman thanks for that. A good read!
Prisoner Monkeys commented on the post, Ten-place grid penalty for Schumacher at Suzuka 10 years, 4 months ago
Did the stewards ever do that before? A driver makes the same mistake twice in the year so gets double the penalty?
It’s all part of the renewed crackdown on dangerous driving.
If Jenson Button went […]

@snowman Your fixation with nationality as the explanation for the stewards’ decision defies reason let alone basic respect for the integrity of others.
If you choose to persuade yourself there is one person on […]

@snowman I see no reason to assume Allan McNish’s Britishness would be the cause of him holding a grudge against Schumacher, nor that he would automatically be able to get the other stewards to join him in your […]

@snowman I assume that’s the average figure – I’d be very surprised (and alarmed!) if it was the peak? If it is the average, the fact they extended the introduction by (I think) another half an hour will have had an effect.

“starts” dominating? He’s finished ahead of Grosjean in 9 of the 11 races so far this year. That’s a better record than Hamilton has against Button, or Vettel has against Webber, or Rosberg against […]

Thanks for the freedback so far everyone though for the most part it seems to be on technical stuff rather than the articles themselves. All useful though.
I’ve been asked about a podcast before and while I’d like to do one, the cost involving in producing one to a worthwhile standard would be high and it would be difficult to raise…[Read more]

That’s dead on @snowman, I quite like DC’s laid-back style but he was winging it a little too much there. The only person he managed to find was his own colleague…I hope it was just a one-off breakdown in […]

Saying Sky have the better commentators and coverage is a personal thing for everyone.
Agreed – there’s elements in both that I like and dislike.
Fer no.65 commented on the post, Paul di Resta splits from manager Anthony Hamilton 10 years, 7 months ago
The first thing they want to change about the stewards at penalties is get rid of the different ex driver steward at every grand prix.
@snowman Funny. For me that’s the best addition the FIA has done in over a […]

If someone who knows nothing about what happened read that article they would believe Schumacher cheated only to be kept having the podium because of his age and time spent of it.
If they read it […]

@snowman Brundle is reporting other teams’ reactions to Schumacher’s penalty. He is not required to forensically examine every available fact surrounding what happened in order to prevent people like you twisting […]

Another thing was the comment trying to say Schumacher cheated his way unto the podium
Nowhere in Brundle’s article does he accuse Schumacher of “cheating”.

I can only hope MSC gets a good result soon, we have been waiting 2 1/2 years to see if he’s still got it. Yes he’s had some bad luck this season, but between the moaning and poor sportsmanship I […]

when he has a bad performance you never hear about it
Such as?
I think one of Di Resta’s qualities is that his lows haven’t been that low.
He finished more racing laps than anyone else last year which […]
