SoLiDG commented on the post, Vandoorne 100% dedicated to "not the fastest" Formula E 3 years ago
There is an article from within the team which talks about Stoffel’s driving style and it needing a stable back (if i’m not mistaken) and that’s the weakness of the car.
It was compared to the year Vettel got […]
SoLiDG commented on the post, Gap between top three and midfield is "upsetting" – Lowe 3 years, 1 month ago
It keeps surprising me how they are complaining how bad the gaps are now between top en midfield teams, like it is something new.
It has (almost) always been this was and even to a bigger extend.
Sure it would […]

Ending with Spa and Le Mans is exciting and brilliant. But they have no races in the summer periode of July and August. That is always strange for me.
But a nice lineup.
I really hope one day they can do the extra’s as mentioned above.
How cool would a real career mode be with GP3 and F2 (or even Porsche supercup).
With Liberty, I feel this should be possible in the coming […]
In the old days you could make more of a difference as a driver than you can now.
Drivers bring that bit extra but not as much as in the 80’s.
Vandoorne has to up his game and doesn’t look in […]
Indeed, there is also the pressure of racing for the top step which the lessers cars don’t have.
And Lewis rarely makes a driver error.
He is driving extremely well, had a few weekend where he wasn’t at his best […]

Hamilton said it was a waste of money for F1 .. But that he tought it was probably for MotoGP and the demands of both sports differ.
Seems he was spot on. And in the point of view of an F1 driver the new asphalt […]

Yes exactly one day!
After the red bull’s very very cool livery this is really bad.
How they couldn’t get this better is above me.
Why this isn’t an issue is because in Nascar (depending on the track) you need others to push you to the front.
But when it comes to the finish you don’t want them to have a run at you.
So what happens. They […]

That’s one great looking car!
When I saw the headline I was thinking ‘NOOOO’, but as always when you explain it, it makes 100% sense.
Reading and reacting on this site for over ten years, I saw how it grow and rightfully so!
Keep up the great work!
SoLiDG commented on the post, F1 using Manor's unraced 2017 car model for overtaking study 3 years, 10 months ago
The same Hamilton known for his great overtaking skills pre-drs era?
Alonso did indeed have first choice on upgrades.
Especially at the end when Stoffel was getting a few good races the big front wing upgrade hurt him for a few races.
This front wing is said to be worth up to 0,5 […]
SoLiDG commented on the post, Hamilton can match Schumacher's seven titles, says Button 4 years ago
And how do you think most of Schumacher’s victories came about?
Indeed, from pole position. And a Ferrari he didn’t need to push at 100% at any point in the race.

I think Ham en VET where in the balance for an extra stop.
If you look how everybody pitted during the SC and not opting for track position tells me both where already looking at a 2 stopper.

Maybe something in Palmer’s contract..
Because it was up to me he would be in the car already (at least for FP1)
But it might also be a case of not taking away precious time of Palmer in time of need.
He really […]
