@stefanauss fair enough. An error is an error!
MattDS commented on the post, Verstappen takes huge lead as Leclerc's crash halts Ferrari's fightback before it begins 6 months, 1 week ago
@stefanauss a small off with no consequences vs a crash-induced DNF (25 points lost) and earlier in the season an off with damage (Imola, 10 points lost).
Leclerc is obviously a great driver but he cannot […]

I think this is a much betetr way of puttign what I have been trying to explain. i think it was well worth Hamilton trying what he did, but he basically had an even bigger opportunity than Bottas […]

Very good point @stefanauss.

@stefanauss Yes, now that you brought it up, there are some similarities between these two moves, but I still don’t feel a penalty would be that necessary for Max.

@stefanauss I have to inform you, you are in fact the first and so far only person on this site to spell his name that way:

@stefanauss finally, yay! Who was the last, Liuzzi? Well, actually Antonio drove for Sauber in the opening races of 2017.

@stefanauss – by “ultimate” do you mean the combination of their best sector times?
It does appear that Q3 times can dip into the high 78 seconds.

@neilosjames – thank you, I’d seen the sector times, but was looking for a video comparison.
@bosyber & @stefanauss – cheers, I’ll check the Sky comparison. Having someone pause it at the apexes and explain it […]

@stefanauss 3s at 0.2s a lap = 15 laps. Just think of what Lewis could have done had they advised him on correct settings.
Can’t have it both ways. I think the rule stinks overall, but you can’t tell a driver […]

@stefanauss His start actually also bad, but he lucky enough to get the apex behind Vettel unlike Hamilton who dont get the apex and as the result can’t defend from further 3 cars that took the outside lane. Mind […]
Strontium commented on the post, Verstappen two-thirds of the way towards ban 7 years, 2 months ago
@stefanauss Yeah, the ban is given to the driver, not the team. So (as happened when Lotus had to run a different driver in Italy 2012) the team would use a 3rd / reserve driver for that car.
Iestyn Davies commented on the post, Verstappen two-thirds of the way towards ban 7 years, 2 months ago
@stefanauss I guess we’d see a debut for Gasly at Toro Rosso, unless they want to give the Red Bull reserve driver another go (Buemi?) and keep Gasly in his GP2 race.
