Miami race won’t happen between the months of June and October for two reasons: it’s hurricane season and the weather is too hot in the summer to have a GP there. My expectations are a May date for their 2022 race.

Completely agree with that assessment.
That’s a solution that somehow worked for the Nürburgring and Hockenheim as both had financial difficulties to host the event.

Williams is on record saying their primary sponsor was signed January 2019. So that makes me wonder if there was indeed any issues with cashflow that contributed to the lateness of the car’s build.
