Why no quote from Piastri in this?
Ultimately, best news for Piastri. In Williams, he would have got a car with which one can’t do much. In McLaren, he would be up against one of the best of the younger […]

Vettel will happily retire immediately too.
sumedhvidwans commented on the post, How did Alpine let its star driver slip through its fingers? 6 months, 1 week ago
Agree with all points.
While Alonso is the best driver, he isn’t necessarily the best when 43 years old in 2024. If Alonso was insistent on a 2 year deal, then this could very well be why they decided to part […]

Don’t think its as much a no brainer. Hungaroring is very difficult to overtake. They are better off taking the penalty at Spa.

Won a race from non-pole. Overtook his main championship rival not once but thrice and in 3 different ways and on a track where he himself lost his 1st win 3 years back to the same driver. His team didn’t screw up […]

Loved the race. All the action we got in Silverstone at the front of the grid, we got in the mid-pack but little spoiled by track limits.
So if Silverstone was 10, this was an 8

This is becoming sadder than Vettel 2020.

Don’t get too excited.
Most of the racing was due to Leclerc having older tyres. Without Leclerc, the last 10 laps would be a procession

I try not comment on this series of articles because I honestly can’t understand how are these ratings arrived (These driver ratings are like the double points / elimination qualifying of racefansdotnet).
But […]

They could monitor tyre pressure. They could have known its not a puncture.

His move against Mick should have been penalized. They both went off the road, similar to his move against Hamilton in Brazil or what Alonso did to Raikkonen in Austin last year.
May be Haas forgot to […]

Just went through the ride-along of the Silverstone race. So, Leclerc was already on Vale straight when the SC was announced, while Sainz and Hamilton were approaching Stowe. So, Leclerc had very little time to […]

I liked it.
Ferrari poorer on its tyres than Red Bull. Tantalising last laps as pit stop isn’t worth it in a sprint.
Looking at the wear Leclerc had, I feel a red bull 1-2 is possible tomorrow

Never realized the benefit of the 10 / 20 mic format that is present in pretty much every sport.
Do what Max says. It is common sense.

Will be interesting to see how they manage Mick. We all know Red Bull’s approach to their driver academy – perform or perish (although it is changing a little bit now).
Ferrari on the other hand, I don’t think […]

Increasing safety of cars isn’t supposed to allow unsafe tracks to join the calendar. One doesn’t cancel out the other.

So if Max or Charles start playing the DRS cat and mouse game, they would have to brake in the middle of the straight. Sounds purposefully dangerous. […]

Grand chelem is defined as a driver who leads every lap, wins the race, sets fastest lap and ‘starts’ from pole. In the COTD’s case, the driver wins pole position but doesn’t start on pole and hence won’t be a […]
