Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, "It's not Yuki's fault": AlphaTauri boss defends Tsunoda after Red Bull criticism 1 year, 7 months ago
“I was annoyed,” he said. “It’s Q3, he shouldn’t be there. But it is what it is.”
Tsunoda was quick enough for Q3, which is why he was there. The penalty is is irrelevant. Mighty entitled from Perez, unle […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Why Ferrari seeks success in WEC as well as F1 – and IndyCar is still on its radar 2 years, 1 month ago
The racing world is also vastly different now than it was when Old Man Ferrari was fighting Henry Ford II for the honours at LeMans. Ferrari has vastly more resources than nearly any other automaker that competes […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Bottas and Leclerc say their home visits between races were not safety risks 2 years, 11 months ago
If the two drivers informed their teams and sought permission to return home as the provisions allowed, then I don’t see why this is an issue at all.
Obviously, the people who wrote these operational norms have […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Ferrari tipped to sign Sainz, Ricciardo expected to join McLaren 3 years ago
I don’t believe any team on the grid, even Mercedes and Ferrari, have the financial capability to afford both Vettel and Hamilton at the same time. Vettel can say that finances played no part in his decision to […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Norris is more critical of his driving than we are – Brown 3 years, 5 months ago
I wonder if Toyota would push Sebastien Ogier to take part in the Dakar next year, since he’s announced his retirement from WRC. It would be a stunning coup for the Dakar organizers, getting legends from other […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Haas's real problem in 2019 wasn't tyres, says Grosjean 3 years, 5 months ago
In the past few years, Haas has done well on even-numbered seasons. Hence, I fully expect them to have a banger of a 2020.
Excuse the small sample size though :P

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Todt admits 2021 budget cap will have "no influence" on most F1 teams 3 years, 8 months ago
I think he’s still unclear on the objective of the budget cap. Someone should break out a pen and paper and explain it to him.

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Gasly: Toro Rosso suits my driving style better 3 years, 8 months ago
We all know the lengths he’d go through to keep his drivers from colliding with each other. For instance, a few weeks ago he decided not to resign one of them so that they wouldn’t fight unnecessarily!

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Ferrari win at home as Leclerc resists Mercedes pair 3 years, 9 months ago
McLaren were doing well until Carlito’s wheel gun cock-up. I don’t think they have anything to fear from Renault, this was a freak result for them, aided by a good setup for once this season, and Honda’s returning woes.

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Hulkenberg, Stroll and Sainz given reprimands for qualifying incident 3 years, 9 months ago
@f1osaurus They’re taking advantage of a technicality. They bait other cars out of the garage, pull over and then ride in their tow. Its too cheeky by far.

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Hulkenberg, Stroll and Sainz given reprimands for qualifying incident 3 years, 9 months ago
The Mercedes drivers should also be given reprimands for their “practice starts”. They’ve already pulled the same crap once this year, and the FIA has let it slide again. Anyone moving over to the practice start […]

The guy who actually decided to move on and put in a lap was totally the joke.

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Correa suffered "new complications" in recovery, says family 3 years, 9 months ago
Most reports said that Correa’s condition was “critical, but stable”, and this article clearly states that the respiratory complications are recent developments during his treatment, so I don’t think you, or most […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Wheel rim lights planned for 2021 F1 season 3 years, 9 months ago
The LED panels are visible at daytime too. I find them immensely useful at all times in IMSA and WEC, with their massive spread of cars. Their use in F1 is questionable, but it would be a nice-to-have, but not a […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, F2's Raghunathan closing on another ban after scoring 20th penalty point 3 years, 9 months ago
Its a shame that Raghunathan and Maini have been getting all the attention for the wrong reasons over the last couple of years, while Jehan Daruvala is currently in 3rd place in F3, and has been putting in […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Ricciardo leading Hulkenberg in close Renault fight 3 years, 9 months ago
Renault have one of the closest driver pairings, both in terms of experience and skill. Sure, one has won races, but then he’s been in a race-winning car.
The real failing of Renault has been as a team, […]

Sundar Srinivas Harish commented on the post, Norris nearly crashed before race start on "dangerous" drag strip 3 years, 10 months ago
I think there still are a lot of countries that respect engineers, our country definitely is one of them – the respect stems from pedigree, unfortunately, and engineers from the insanely competitive public […]

Bottas, on fresh soft tyres at the end of the race took the bonus point immediately and then coasted home to the podium, while Hamilton put in a banker lap to take the bonus point on the last lap. That victory was […]
