Great article. Looking forward to many more. However, there is a distinct lack of reporting on the state of cuisine in within the paddock!
Tim commented on the post, Portions of Drive to Survive are "definitely not correct" – Norris 10 months, 3 weeks ago
And this is why I no longer watch Drive To Survive. Couldn’t get through the first episode of the last season given the manufacturing of spectacle.
As mentioned above, there’s no need to make last season more […]

Maybe the cars should only have three wheels too and their drivers should be renames Del-boy and Rodders?
It’s not like Gene Haas doesn’t have enough resource to hand the money back and keep the team going […]
Tim commented on the post, Why Aston Martin's new boss sees a "blatant" similarity to his previous F1 team 11 months ago
I have to say, of I didn’t subscribe (I think the site is worth the £1 per month in the quality of the journalism alone) the level of advertising would really drive me away.
But I’m lucky, can afford it and […]
Tim commented on the post, Hamilton was "robbed" of championship win by F1 race director Masi – Wolff 1 year, 1 month ago
As more of a LH fan than a MV fan (but really a McLaren fan) I think they should void the result of the last race (MV still wins, fair enough, he’s a great driver). Masi clearly didn’t follow procedure and […]
Tim commented on the post, Confusion over racing rules "very dangerous" for championship conclusion 1 year, 2 months ago
Sure, Wolff is a sore looser. So’s Horner, that is very clear. But when you’re leading a business that has been teens of billions on success then you’re going to be.
But that’s for nothing to do with the point […]
Tim commented on the post, F1 teams not at risk of exclusion over new rear wing tests in Qatar 1 year, 2 months ago
Calm down. The rules haven’t changed, only the tests used to see if teams comply, and even if they don’t comply to the rules as defined by the new tests then there’s no punishment.

Didn’t help Bottas much and, lets face it, his engine isn’t that old. I think that there’s a really big amount of skill there too. Please, credit where it’s due!
Tim commented on the post, Should F1 have awarded points for its one-lap Belgian Grand Prix? 1 year, 5 months ago
Totally agree! Under the current rules, yes. Should they have done those laps behind a safety car? Debatable and that debate will never be resolved so we should let it go.
Was it sporting? No. There was no race […]

China is experiencing an increase in cases (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/13/covid-map-shows-latest-outbreak-in-mainland-china-as-delta-cases-rise.html) so that may not be an option…
Tim commented on the post, Red Bull's failed bid for another Hamilton penalty troubles the FIA and enrages Mercedes 1 year, 6 months ago
Hmm, a thought arising out of your comment: Is this Horner trying to build Merc as Max’s enemy so that he’ll never sign with them when Lewis retires? It’s a long game to be sure.
Tim commented on the post, Don't use sprint qualifying to decide starting grid for grand prix – Leclerc 1 year, 6 months ago
Don’t object to that concept but it would have to be at certain tracks only. Monaco would be a dreadful place for such a race. It’s hardly a race as it currently is!
Tim commented on the post, Hamilton penalty "harsh" for move within FIA's overtaking guidance – Allison 1 year, 6 months ago
I think you’ll find Copse can be taken any way you want to depending on a number of variables including speed. Yes, outside may be he racing line, but if you want to go slower, you can take the inside line if that […]
Tim commented on the post, Why Hamilton "wasn't seen as wholly to blame" for the Verstappen crash 1 year, 6 months ago
Sorry, were we reading the same article? I’m sure Hamilton was mentioned as being “predominantly to blame” about three times and the article seeks to explain what blame he carries and the much lighter burden of blame for Max.
Tim commented on the post, Penalising Hamilton for severity of Verstappen's crash not an option – Masi 1 year, 6 months ago
No, that’s far too risky for both drivers. We’ve seen the reports that Lewis’s car was stuffed without the red flag. The consequences of this sort of accident/incident/mendacity are far too tricky to control…
Tim commented on the post, Hamilton: Pass on "respectful" Leclerc shows how Verstappen move should have gone 1 year, 6 months ago
Yup, best racing that we’ve seen at the front all season.
Tim commented on the post, Hamilton's penalty insufficient for "dangerous" move – Verstappen 1 year, 6 months ago
Since when had any in race F1 penalty delivered “justice”? It’s always a time penalty and penalty points on a licence.
That’s just the current system and to expect anything else is just naive.
For me, based […]
Tim commented on the post, F1 will rethink decision to name Sprint Qualifying winner as pole position holder 1 year, 6 months ago
How about a set of nice durable tyres for the sprint race, i.e. ones that don’t blister, and regular crappy ones for the main race?
Or, as you suggest more tyres. Push it to the extreme with a fresh set of […]
Tim commented on the post, FIA to force F1 teams to slow down their pit stops 1 year, 7 months ago
Best drivers in the world, right? Parking accuracy shouldn’t be a problem! In all seriousness, and this was never a serious suggestion, maybe giving everyone the same gear for the changing of tyres would be the […]
Tim commented on the post, FIA to force F1 teams to slow down their pit stops 1 year, 7 months ago
Automated, robot based, tyre changes in pit stops. It’s the only solution!
