Ben Rowe commented on the post, Leclerc thought he might keep Bottas behind after first-lap pass 1 week, 3 days ago
Something I found interesting this race is that Bottas didn’t have his usual hesitation during the overtakes that he often does. On another note, it looks like the cars can drive in dirty air much […]
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Mercedes explain error behind 11-second pit stop which ruined Bottas's race 1 week, 3 days ago
as someone pointed out on another forum, bottas’s pace was pretty much equal to Hamilton.
Leclerc had a great start rather than a poor one for Bottas. Bottas lost one place, not two. Bottas took a […]

To me, Mercedes and Red Bull looked dominant over the rest of the field, but pretty equal with each other on race day.
None of the other cars were remotely close. Just think, Bottas lost around 4 seconds […]
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Mazepin "very angry with myself" after crashing out of first race on lap one 1 week, 4 days ago
I’m going to be generous and just assume that the car is pretty awful to drive. His team mate literally mirrored what he did, but was just more lucky with the outcome. That car looks a real handful. We should give […]

Massivespin doesn’t sound very good to me. None of his spins have really been massive and the later one wasn’t even a spin exactly. Mazespin only adds one letter to his name and fits a lot better.

If it blocks airflow, it can have a significant effect. Although not to the same extent as it was in a different location, Bottas had a plastic bag of some sort at this track in one stint where he […]
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Perez almost quit when car died on formation lap 1 week, 5 days ago
In the one race we’ve had this year, Red bull and Mercedes are close, but on race day, the rest were close to each other but nowhere near these two. Bottas had bad luck and was already 15 seconds behind Hamilton […]

I am comparing it to this track because abu dhabi is so much harder to overtake on and DRS was also disabled for a large chunk of the race. That makes the situation pretty comparable to be honest.

Do you remember him being voted driver of the season here in 2015? And beating Kimi (who is somebody!)
4 years in a row he beat Kimi. He also beat his first 3 team mates. It is falce that is is only Webber […]

@roadrunner
I think Tsunoda was only good considering he was a rookie. I wouldn’t argue with those who say that car was the 3rd best this weekend. Gasly managed 5th in qualifying and even with Perez out, Tsunoda […]Ben Rowe commented on the post, Vote for your 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend 1 week, 6 days ago
To be fari, Leclerc had a better launch than most of those around him. So that is more credit for him than against Bottas I would say.
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Vote for your 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend 1 week, 6 days ago
I’m not sure how you can tie Gasly and Perez with Bottas. Gasly especially destroyed his race which is what counts. Surely just a good qualifying shouldn’t be the main thing that counts? Gasly should be below 5 […]

Bottas did seem to recover well based on his poor form in most of practice in qualifying. Leclerc had a great start and Bottas didn’t take to long to pass him, but lost around 4 seconds. That then grew to around 7 […]

Yea, people voting perez for dotw are not really taking the work weekend correctly perez was poor in qualifying and even without having to restart the race in 18th, p5 still looked most likely for him. If hamilton […]
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Perez almost quit when car died on formation lap 1 week, 6 days ago
Perez did not blame the team for qualifying. He said it was inexperience with the car. Still, it was poor as 9 drivers in slower cars beat him.A few had faster tyres, but not many. Given the margin verstappen got […]
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Vettel says Ocon collision was "probably my mistake" 1 week, 6 days ago
Your comment barely relates to what I have said. I was mainly talking today. I can’t deny last year was a bad season for Vettel. But when he is comfortable, he still shows more skills than many drivers have, he […]
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Vettel says Ocon collision was "probably my mistake" 1 week, 6 days ago
I still think those saying he is completely broken are a bit harsh. He still shows he can be decent as a lot of his fighting and defending with Alonso especially today and many other drivers was excellent. He just […]

I’m more saying that it is clear he won’t have much in the way of it with an attitude like that if he actually wants to break the rules….
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Verstappen preferred to take a penalty than allow Hamilton through into lead 1 week, 6 days ago
Verstappen did what he was instructed. Don’t see how it was massive sportsmanship. He then would rather break the sports rules and get a penalty than follow the team’s advice to avoid this happening. I would […]
