If you ignore all of the race that he’s won on wet tracks, you are absolutely right. I remember Lewis overtaking Rosberg (in the same machinery…) round the outside of turn 1 at Japan in the wet in Japan. […]
You need a significant speed advantage to pass in Singapore. Verstappen had a big advantage over most of the field. Lewis didn’t.
You are right that Lewis is an emotional driver. Nevertheless, he did an […]
Lewis apologises, and takes responsibility, and you still have a snarky comment?

@didaho – well said. Safety cars regularly create anomalies in the race (due to primarily to pitting for new tyres, which is often a pure luck issue). I’d much rather it be down to an error from a river on a restart.

De Vries was excellent.
Sainz was very impressive in carving through the field. I loved his non-DRS overtakes.
Sorry mate – you are mad if you think that a fly past makes any difference whatsoever to the climate.
Norris has been better than Hamilton – because the latter has had two races where he clearly screwed up… the former, none.
Norris has also shaded Alonso, who has occasionally been slower than his team mate. […]

Leclerc. Top Ferrari driver in qualifying, fastest Ferrari driver in the Sprint, won the race at a track Verstappen usually owns.
Verstappen run everything out of the Red Bull, but.. at last… was not the […]
The second lap of Q3 is very accident prone. With a banker in place, drivers unleash…. And overstep the limit.
This time it was Perez and Alonso. Both incidents were enough to cause a red flag.
I w […]

Verstappen aced this race. Awesome.
Leclerc will be wondering how Sainz kept Perez behind Witt fresher tyres. Perez will be wondering the same!
Sainz was unlucky again in the pits.
Russell did an […]
Some differences for Max to think through:
– When Lewis hold the inside line, and runs a competitor wide on the exit of a corner, he makes sure that he himself will make the turn. In Brazil, he forced Lewis […]
@nandy, you said:
Of course Silverstone was much worse than Monza.
One is a very high speed corner that requires pinpoint accuracy and barely doable to overtake at the best of times let alone with dirty […]
@greenflag I see what you did there.
