This. The racing was very good, but SC-affected races leave a sour taste. I don’t think there’s appetite for going back to red flags and aggregate timing, so we have to accept SCs eliminating the gaps between car […]

If pit lane speed limits were increased, thus making pit stops less of a penalty, would drivers push harder for more of the race?
I understand that raising the speed limit would be unacceptable from a safety […]thesud commented on the post, 'Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix' title chosen for Imola's F1 race 1 year, 6 months ago
Is this deliberately savvy marketing? I mean they’ve got more people taking about it than if they just went with “Emilia-Romagna” again…

I believe the last podium without RB/Mercedes/Ferrari/McLaren was Australia 2009, which had Brawn, Brawn, Toyota.
If you want to exclude Brawn on the basis that it became Mercedes, then you could have Malaysia […]

They’re in tight fights in both driver’s and constructors championship, so probably want their current drivers getting as much running as possible each weekend.

This illustrates (albeit in a simplified way) why it may still be worth doing what we can to slow the spread.

It wasn’t just the skin scars. The toxic fumes he had inhaled caused enough lung damage very nearly killed him.

@drmouse The easiest way to prevent drivers getting an advantage through pit stops when the VSC is active would be to enforce a reduced put lane speed limit. Wouldn’t be perfect, but e.g. if VSC makes drivers fine […]

You got it, though @bradley13 got it right 3 minutes earlier than you.
I tried to make it harder by not putting the 4 manufacturers and have you guys try to guess what’s the meaning. The correct answer was indeed Fangio who won with 4 different teams in that order (not that it matter) it’s a record that’s hardly going to get bettered.
