I’ve never understood the term boring procession. F1 cars are amazing. Sure positions might not change in a race here or there but I could never consider F1 cars boring.

I don’t think he’s said Lewis was faultless. He wasn’t. The difference is he still won the race despite his errors. Max arguably lost the race due his errors. I don’t think there’s any way anyone could ever argue […]

I think it’s just been so long since we’ve had 2 genuinely and consistently competitive teams at the front of the field. 2008 was a prime example of what you’re saying. The Mclarens and Ferraris were very evenly […]

Pretty impressive by Mclaughlan but of course fortunate timing with the safety car. Great to see a Scott and NZ 1-2!

So why waste your time coming here and engaging with the publishers? Surely there must be some appeal. I for one love the site and very much appreciate the work that goes into it. I find it sad that discussing the […]
Tommy C commented on the post, Formula E will produce "much more overtaking" at Monaco than F1, says Di Grassi 1 week ago
I am. If F1 cars maxed out at 100kph, literally anyone could do it. The appeal is that the average human simply cannot drive these cars to the limit no matter their ego.
Overtaking or not, the spectacle of F1 cars around Monaco is incredible. I’ll happily watch every time.
Tommy C commented on the post, Will F1's new Sprint Qualifying races enhance the championship? 1 week, 3 days ago
So if more of these races are added, I guess we’ll have a bunch of Schumacher 2012 Monaco asterisks. Fastest in qualifying but not on pole… I can’t really see these mini races achieving much. There will almost […]

Oh dear. Not unprecedented though! Reminds me of the 1985 San Marino grand prix with several cars running out of fuel in the last few laps and some just making it to the line. Hopefully this is just a minor hiccup […]

Lando has been very impressive. Making Danny look a little ordinary even… should be an interesting tussle for the season.

So disappointing after such a good qualy. I must say though, Sergio rarely impresses in the wet. I recall a number of silly spins. His one today was almost a carbon copy of Albon at the same point of the track last year!
I think the worst thing to come out of this is that Valterri was effectively scrapping for points today with a Williams…

That was a pretty scary incident to see. Glad to see they’re both OK. After seeing the onboard with Kimi behind, it’s hard to apportion blame on either driver.
Shaping up to be a cracking season. Max was absolutely faultless today. Perez and Bottas were painfully mediocre… good on Norris making the most of the softs on the restart and holding on till the end. Lewis was […]

Well I guess if we have to lose a race, I’d nominate Paul Ricard. As much as I think there should definitely be a Grand Prix in France, that track is simply awful.

Lewis made the difference today! How privileged we are to see such a brilliant driver. Great to see Sergio up there. He’s well and truly cemented his place at Red Bull already. Feel a bit for Lando.

There seems to be a lot of outrage about this. I can see why. The biggest thing though is visibility and representation. If we agree that we want to see more female participation in motorsport, girls need to see […]
