Im hoping me and the mrs and our 3 kids can all attend this year – thinking of doing 10 days in Dubai. But I have a few questions:
1. Are we better of a hiring a car to get between Dubai and the circuit?
2. When do people think tickets will go on sale?
3. Finally as, were flying out a week before, where best are we getting tickets from, as I’ve heard previously they only ship them a week before the race7th November 2013, 9:13 at 9:13 am #244817TommyCParticipantTo Tilke
Please note in all future circuit designs, please ensure there are no revolving doors to access paddock buildings
Thanks, Bernie

Took them to Barcelona in May: 3 day ticket for me and two of my kids including parking £120. Even after flights and a week all in-clusive still cheaper than the British Grand Prix and camping in a field

Thursday morning was quiet although the drives didn’t appear to be coming out purposefully to do autographs as they do in the afternoon. Having said that I got more in the morning than I did in the afternoon, that was just crazy with the number of fans there and was a real bun fight.
I’m going again this year but just in the morning. I preferred watching and meeting team mechanics as they set up. Got close to some bits of kit – front wings etc that were lying around as they made space. Had some great and informative chats with Mclarenmechanics who I think they liked us showing an interest rather than just asking for the drivers.

We drove in each day, total journey time 40mins – that included getting out of circuit car park. Really well organised and fantastic road network. This year I’m staying in Calella which is again on the coast. Highly recommend the Costa Brava, it’s out of season so some real cheap bargains. Ive paid £230 for 3 of us All Inclusive for a week.

They send them out special delivery and this year I found them cheaper than if I bought direct fromthe circuit and chose to collect in person.

5th January 2013, 15:35 at 3:35 pm #204517TommyCParticipantI’ve just booked my flights for the second year running. Last year was fantastic from the pit walks Thursday right through to the Sundays. I found the the Thursday pit walk far better than the afternoon, it was far less busy and we got to meet a number of drivers with ease, as they prepared to walk the circuit. Driving to the circuit was easy – take note Silverstone. Sundays was the worse post race – 1/2hr at most before we were on free flowing motorway. This I noticed your race ticket also gets you free entry to the international motor Show for those with a day or so spare. Also consider staying on the Costa Brava – far cheaper than Barcelona

Anyone any reccomendations where to sit within GA

16th April 2012, 17:57 at 5:57 pm #199476TommyCParticipantI would love to know also. I see they are doing a morning and evening pit walk. Any thoughts on which one is best to attend?
