Very sad. hopefully the loss of some of the hated hybrid going in 2025/6 will address this but they are basically open wheeled SUVs. And like most SUVs theres only one person in them
They lived together for a year and were definitely more than just colleagues/ rivals. But friends fall out, it happens
Lewis played a straight bat all that season. He was a rookie and Alonso was the best in the business. The only person who got out of shape was Alonso
Lewis being the fox i assume you meant?

For tourists and old ladies.
Whether its ‘dramatised’ is not the point. ‘Senna’ was as hokey as the hokey cokey but it was brilliant all the same. This is effective as a grabber for the sport but not for f1 fanatics.

They just don’t care about being best in testing. What they are not is 1.5 seconds ahead, to much relief. The communal heart sink would kill all the excitement about the new rules in its tracks. Id rather have […]
Ferrari, Kings of testing. Mercedes, Kings.
Just watch 20 then
Yes its great news that Mercedes have made a battery smaller for their road cars and all it took was 300 million a year to run their F1 & FE division and the loss of NOISE to f1 which, if you are a fan, rather […]
Tony Mansell commented on the post, Will F1's new rules mean a return to single team dominance in 2022? 8 months, 3 weeks ago
Team mostly likely to fall out off the top: RBR – they really pushed for the WDC
Team most likely to be underwhelming: Ferrari – because they almost always are
Team most likely to be a dark horse: – Aston Martin […]

Im with you on this one. CAD has killed original and simple good design. They all remind me somewhat of the back of a Honda Civic.
Just because you can doesnt mean you should
All you have said is true. i think the ‘switcheroo’ is my personal unfavourite. But a showdown without him is a bonus though i will miss Brundle
We complain about sanitised tracks dont we?. Yes this one looks a bit scary and no one wants to see anyone get hurt. but surely we want jeopardy, and some sand traps to stop this Max/Lewis thing
Yes he is the only driver to ever make a mistake and hit another car.
Transformers R US. Road relevance of moveable aero defeats me but I guess thats only a stick thats waved to keep hybrid in F1. Easy way to reduce weight is chuck out the batteries but that wont happen now i […]
Great pic that. One of my bugbears on F1 is the lack of good photography. A still doesnt often afford a good view of speed but it can do and the pan shots are tired and dull now. A car on the edge or over it and a […]
Seems an over complicated plan just to get rid of ‘croftie’
Worth a shot.
Tony Mansell commented on the post, McLaren-Mercedes return: Their previous 20 F1 cars in pictures 1 year, 7 months ago
Beautifully put together, but the last pretty car was 2006 and obviously 2014 was a catastrophe. Marry that to the sounds of the v10s to todays hybrid noise. Depressing

Agree, apart from its another lost 4 years. I really rate Domenicalli though, hes done it at the sharp end and isn’t, yet, 307 years old like Bernie. The paddock likes him and he seems to get it. SOme fans dont […]
@tflb totally agree. ‘the show’ only really became a thing when , ironically, it wasn’t (as much of a ) show anymore. I always felt treated with disdain by F1 until quite recently. But I also agree with @oconomo, […]
