If I remember correctly things have been deemed illegal based on primary and secondary purpose. So adjusting the steering wheel forward or back isn’t steering the car at the time it is done by the driver. It is […]

Exactly Dale. If they are going down a straight and change the toe, that is being done for a future benefit of speed, tire temp, and or suspension geometry. NOT for the immediate need to turn the car. So the […]

@carlos…I’m sure that’s what Ferrari needs is ” the lowest bidder” driving and everything will be sunshine and lollipops.

By far my favorite livery of the year….so far. I know it may be just a test livery, but I sure hope not. The nose and front wing are a substantial change to others on the grid. I find it a bit odd that they can […]
Christopher commented on the post, Should Formula 1 drop the 'Q3 tyre rule'? 3 years, 6 months ago
I like your idea, but I’d take it a step further. I think the way Moto GP does it is great. Not only give them free choice, but also let them choose front to rear compound. Moto GP guys will run a soft front and […]

@jerejj Thanks! That’s my first COTD. :)
Some of the guys commented that Ferrari my not be the best choice for Mick, but I think it’s a good one. Ferrari will do a solid job of protecting him as he grows. They […]Christopher commented on the post, Mick Schumacher joins Ferrari's F1 Driver Academy 3 years, 6 months ago
I’m super happy that Mick signed with the Scuderia. I just hope he is given the space to grow without everyone comparing him to his dad. If Mick shows the skill in the next couple of years, it will be awesome to […]

F1 is as difficult as it ever was. These cars are the fastest cars ever run on many of the same tracks. They definitely require alot more input than back in the old days. I can’t imagine having to know […]Christopher commented on the post, Szafnauer hopes team doesn't use Racing Point name in 2019 3 years, 8 months ago

Depending on how long you have watched, do you remember the days when running wide would put you in the grass or gravel and end someones race? I miss that level of unpredictability. Heck, back in those days we […]

Keke Rosberg, Jachen Rindt, Jackie Stewart, and Nikki Lauda all smoked. I even remeber seeing Schumi smoke a cigar in the padock… :)
Christopher commented on the post, Hamilton: Verstappen should have left room for Ocon 3 years, 9 months ago
IMO Ocon had a right to be there and to pass because he was faster the previous couple of laps. If lapped cars that are slower “must” give way to the leaders because of blue flags, the leaders should not be able […]
Christopher commented on the post, Leclerc told 50 times to save his tyres in Sauber's extreme Mexico strategy 3 years, 9 months ago
The acceleration and top speed characteristics are also dependent on what ratios the team is running. If I remember correctly, those ratios are chosen at the beginning of the season and can’t be changed.

I agree, Bottas earned his win and it would have been best if he could’ve kept it. In the long run, I doubt Hamilton will even be semi close to needing them. I think he and MB have broken the will of Ferrari this […]

The podium ceremony was like someone had died. Bottas looked like someone had stolen his puppy, while Hamilton was trying hard to look embarrassed. And Vettel looked like the Cheshire cat, grinning, and waiting […]

I actually like Michelins idea to operate like Moto GP.
Bring a hard med and soft to every race and let the teams choose based on their strategy. No rules about “you must use this tire in the race.”
That way we […]Christopher commented on the post, Ticktum's insinuations after F3 blow: 'I'm fighting a losing battle as my name isn't Schumacher' 3 years, 10 months ago

Hoping the Scuderia will put there head down and dominate in a front row lockout and a 1-2 finish. It would be a great tribute in honor of their fallen leader. Just like they did when Enzo passed. Now that was an […]
