Would be awesome to meet some fellow F1fanatics6th November 2013, 12:30 at 12:30 pm #244478us-brianParticipantGood to know. I almost changed my flight to a earlier one so that i could make the Pit walk. But now i can leave it that way and save the money.
5th November 2013, 22:10 at 10:10 pm #244476us-brianParticipantUpdated Event Schedule!
http://www.formula1.com/races/in_detail/united_states_911/event_timetable.html
And according to this one there is a Pitwalk for 3day ticket holders on Thursday.5th November 2013, 19:38 at 7:38 pm #2444755th November 2013, 19:33 at 7:33 pm #244474us-brianParticipantThat would be awesome. Wish that we could have GP2 and GP3 but i am ok with that. Last year the Ferrari challenge offered great racing with lots of contact.
Missed the Vintage F1 race while i was trying to get Autographs and misserably failed ( to long lines).
Where did you hear about the Add on?14th October 2013, 19:48 at 7:48 pm #216625us-brianParticipantAnyone know anything about Support Races?
Last year was Ferrari challenge, Porsche Cup and Historic GP.
Only thing i know so far is the Ferrari Callenge.14th August 2013, 21:18 at 9:18 pm #216619us-brianParticipant@marcky Yes that would have been a good thing.l I always have the chance of selling my pass on Stubhub or so. I might get back with you on this when we get closer. Should know for sure next month.
6th August 2013, 17:08 at 5:08 pm #216617us-brianParticipantI have Bought my ticket and parking pass a while back. I reserved a room at Motel 6 close to Austin Airport.
Now i might have miscalculated my budget a bit which leaves me possibly without a car. If anyone wants to park right next to the Track at Turn 1 (Parking Lot P) and is willing to pick me up…. That would be free Parking for the weekend. Just let me know11th April 2013, 21:28 at 9:28 pm #216594us-brianParticipantGot my Ticket, Parking and Hotel. Turn 1 again. Hotel i found Motel6 Austin South Airport the cheapest and also closest to the track. $119/night.
Turn 1 gives you an incredible view of the whole Start Finish, Pits, Turns 1 through 4, the Instambul Turns and more. Also close to entrance.25th October 2012, 20:45 at 8:45 pm #213795us-brianParticipantSame here. You can tell that F1 is all glamour. The MOTO GP tickets i got earlier this year for Indy were alll flimsy. These are solid. At least the Premium ones. Now only three more weeks and F1 is back!
10th October 2012, 17:01 at 5:01 pm #201936us-brianParticipantThe Track is now visible on Google maps. Seems like the image itself is 3-4 months old. But you can clearly see a layer of asphalt and the whole layout.
7th October 2012, 16:03 at 4:03 pm #202772us-brianParticipantDriving From Kentucky. Going to be at Turn 1 Sec. 5.
Since Hotels are too expensive in Austin or direct suroundings I will stay in Salado, TX. about 1hr drive to shuttle locations in Downtown or the other one. I rather pay only $45 a night and drive than $300 a night.
Hope the Tickets get mailed soon. Does anyone know if any other support races are held besides the Historic GP?22nd September 2012, 21:52 at 9:52 pm #201934us-brianParticipantCurious when they begin with the Turn 1 Grandstands! Since the race is in less than two months i assume that it won’t take very long to build. The reason for my concern is that I have tickets for T1 and hope that I won’t get a bad surprise come November.
16th September 2012, 2:56 at 2:56 am #182339us-brianParticipantGoing to Be at Turn 1 Section 5.
Can’t wait. Waiting to see if anything about Parking is coming available. $213 for three days is a bit brutal. Might have to see about Shuttle from Downtown. - AuthorPosts
