Longish post warning
Incident from my point of view. I am not saying you should disappear, you could’ve moved over a bit as maddog’s video shows that you had 1 1/2 to 2 car widths on the left of you that you could’ve moved into. I think the chances of me making the corner was on the edge, judging on the angle of my car. Any benefit I had, I lost it in the next corner where NHC span me around, and I let you and alfred by when I was on the side of the track.
This is what I was talking about in the sprint race. I am NOT using this to deflect the main incident. I am using it as a reference point of what could’ve happen if a person was given enough room.
Wanna bring up other incidents of reckless racing, what about lap 28? Notice that in the mirrors, it shows him having half of the car off the track up to the corner where he almost pushed me into the barrier.
@mrgrieves, well when I stop the video at 1M 20S, it shows the white arrows for a least a second and a half indicating that I am on the right hand side of you and you still turned in.
Also, you did a reckless lunge in the same corner on lap 1 in sprint race and overshot the corner completely, but you was lucky that you didn’t take out anyone because there was just enough room, and NHC was aware that you was approaching as far as I can tell. But I tried to avoid you in the feature race by going into the only gap I can see and if I moved off the track and missed you completely, I would’ve hit daz or jon who has already been around the corner. (Note that I was braking the entire way on the braking section, not releasing the brake and then engaging it again midway.) Will upload that video tomorrow.
I meant that it was my fault that I got myself into that position going into the corner but it was partly his fault that he turned in, and touched me and then span.
I want to apologise for that incident, I braked too late, was a long way behind you on the straight and I had nowhere to go, my fault completely. Just want to say, that I would’ve made the corner, but you turned in too early. I think the incident didn’t affect your race too badly as the two first guys were too fast, maybe you would be 3rd, but I was taken out on the next corner by NHC, so I could be still 3rd. If you want video evidence of the incident, let me know.
Got a penalty at the end of lap 1 of the 50% race which I think I did not deserve. I felt it was a tiny tap combined with him possibly slamming the throttle causing him to spin quickly. I was really surprised that he spun around and I think if this incident happen in real F1 then it would’ve ended up differently. I couldn’t move to right much otherwise I would’ve ran out of track.
The incident in the sprint, I got a penalty for it and I think I definitely don’t deserve it. Video below for that incident.
I would like both of the penalties to be taken away from my results.

Start of the race, gave @maddogmolloy a tap as I had nowhere to go.
Near the end of the video is the crash between me and Nhc, thought this was far too aggressive and it cost me 15 seconds, this would’ve made me 5th or 6th. What do you guys think?

On Lap 27, if you look on the minimap, you should see odin stop on the track at 0:55, a few seconds later he moves backwards very slowly. I then passed him at 1:48 with him on the left. At 2:12, he starts moving forwards again until about 2:23. At 2:47 he starts moving backwards again. I passed him again at 3:41. I did one full lap + a pitsop while he stopped on the side of the track. At 3:25, you can see his name come up on the bottom, I think this was when he was expressing his displeasure. (I had my chat disconnected).
This happened in Jerez, as mentioned in the lobby, except it happened with 4 cars at the end of the race.
After last week’s discussion, I found out that the Xbox has kept my DLC after I wrecked my disc, so I can’t do the hosting. Down to mark, I think.
PS. I am happy to do any hosting, if everyone eventually got the DLC, as I am there almost every week, and I have a solid fibre optic connection in our house, doing 10mb/s upload and 50 download.
No worries, I wasn’t going to cause any fights or anything. I just was wondering whether he was talking about me as I was a pit stop behind but not a backmarker, however McWoblin was a backmarker I think, so just being confused by what he said.

The race was pretty good for me, the aim for me was to get ahead of McWoblin and try close the gap to the midfield battle. My strategy was different to everybody’s else, deciding not to qualify and putting two sets of primes at the beginning of the race followed by a set of options. Start was reasonable, was trying to keep Lt Alfred behind for a bit. As I was going to lap 11 instead of lap 7, I was racing with others especially y2j.
After putting another set of primes on, I caught up Mcwoblin quickly and had a short battle with him on the two long straights but overtook him when he went wide in the middle sector. After that the race was fairly uneventful, was catch y2j on my last set of options, I was about 5.5 seconds behind, but the softs dropped off the cliff on the last two laps, so couldn’t do any more.
