Warheart commented on the post, Stewards take no action against Hamilton after ruling Alonso clash was a "first-lap incident" 9 months, 1 week ago
@fer-no65 well, it was an incident, and it was the first lap, so I guess considering it a “first lap incident” is technically correct (the best kind of correct). Other than that, I still don’t understand what […]

Warheart commented on the post, Ferrari weren't quick enough to win in Hungary regardless of strategy – Binotto 10 months, 1 week ago
@forcef1 you don’t even have to look at the temperatures, just at the Alpines: the hards were not working at all, they were being terribly slow and overtaken by Ricciardo and both Aston Martins (!!!). It’s like […]

Warheart commented on the post, Vettel announces he will retire from Formula 1 at the end of 2022 10 months, 1 week ago
In 11 and 13 he only had to beat Webber (also a high quality driver)
Who didn’t once get second place in the WDC. Either the car wasn’t that superior, or Webber wasn’t a high quality driver.

Warheart commented on the post, Did the stewards give the right penalties for Russell and Gasly's collisions? 10 months, 3 weeks ago
Sorry, but I think it’s you who needs to remove whatever glasses you’re wearing if you think the actions were the same. Palmer gives a great explanation with images: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuzMtAieIFk

Qualifying spin aside, he did not put one foot wrong.
I have to disagree on that one. He also lost positions in both starts and caused his own front wing damage with what can be argued to be an overly […]

Even with the SC he could’ve arguably held to 7th if they had chosen to go for softs. I agree he did a solid job and deserves a higher score.

Warheart commented on the post, Piquet gets F1 paddock ban after apologising to Hamilton but denying use of racial slur 11 months, 1 week ago
@amian
So in an interview, someone calls every driver by name except one, which happens to be black. That person happens to call that driver “little black”. But that’s not racist. Some mental gymnastics going on there…

Warheart commented on the post, 'This has no place in our sport': Hamilton condemns Piquet's racist comment 11 months, 1 week ago
@banbrorace calling every driver by his name, except one, sounds odd. If that driver is instead called using a racist word, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to call Piquet racist in this case.

Warheart commented on the post, F1 should penalise those who 'obviously' slow on purpose in qualifying – Norris 11 months, 3 weeks ago
For anyone that hasn’t seen it, Palmer’s analysis of Alonso’s “mistake” in Q1 is quite interesting and thoroughly backed by both telemetry data and video evidence.

@eljueta I can actually picture Ferrari mechanics putting speed tape around the hydraulic lines, AlphaTauri-DRS-style.

Warheart commented on the post, 2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 driver ratings 11 months, 3 weeks ago
@frood19 How is it “very generous” to Vettel? His excursion means it wasn’t obviously a perfect race, but up until then he was running in front of Hamilton and ended up 6th with an Aston Martin. That’s a quite […]

Warheart commented on the post, Are Mercedes back in the fight? Five talking points for the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix 1 year ago
@sjaakfoo of course it makes sense. With 16 races to go there are 416 points for grabs, disregarding sprint race points. If Checo had won in Barcelona, he’d only be 11 points behind Max, who, for all we know, […]

Warheart commented on the post, Are Mercedes back in the fight? Five talking points for the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix 1 year ago
@todfod gotcha, and you’re probably quite right in that sense: it was just the sixth race, with not even one third of the calendar covered. But strategy engineers cover basically everything that can happen (within […]

@todfod they’re faced with a situation they don’t know how to handle
But they do. “Let Max pass”. I don’t think many people see Pérez as a driver in Max’s level, and I’m sure everyone at RBR is very aware that […]

You’re almost making it sound like Alonso is the only driver in the current grid that has cut a chicane.
