X1Znet commented on the post, Are F1's revised sprint races an improvement over last year? 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Putting cherries and chocolate sauce on a pile of crap does not change that it is a pile of crap.
Did they change the driver number on the car from 18 to 5 before Vettel drove or did they actually have 2 cars?
The schedule does not have the word sprint anywhere. There are no Friday qualifying sessions listed, just free practice 1 and 2.
Incurable optimist in me hopes this indicates that sprint qualifying has been […]

Any shots with the DRS open?

What are Ferrari testing with a 2021 car? Are there loopholes where they can fit 2022 parts on it?
A more accurate poll would have a 3rd option of not having the sprint race at all.
IMO, having it on the outer circuit is the only thing that makes it slightly interesting.

Has anyone checked if this question appears on any sports gambling sites and what the odds are either way?

Otmar for Race Director!
Don’t all professional sports have a similar legal structure that makes it very difficult to call the officiating into question? Isn’t that why it is extremely difficult to pursue cases of actual corruption?

If the caption on the pic of Alonso driving the unbranded McLaren had said it was The Stig, with that helmet, I would have believed it.
X1Znet commented on the post, Hamilton also summoned to stewards over contact with Verstappen at turn 27 1 year ago
What if instead of Max slowing because he was told to let Lewis past, he’d had a sudden loss of power?
IMO, Lewis should have gone around Max, regardless of why Max slowed — the guy behind is at fault when he […]

I think AM is intentionally holding back to finish lower in the standings in order to be permitted more testing and CFD time for next year’s car. The extra testing for all the changes is more valuable than the […]
X1Znet commented on the post, Mercedes explain rear wing fault which led to Hamilton's disqualification in Brazil 1 year ago
When teams are allowed to repair/replace parts in parc fermé, those parts have passed all the tests already.
If that is not the case, I would like to know those times when parts did not pass scrutineer tests and […]
X1Znet commented on the post, Hamilton's sprint charge shows reverse grid races are "not debatable" – Binotto 1 year ago
It will take a very complicated formula to prevent gaming reverse grid sprint races if there is still Friday qualifying. There will be zero incentive to be fastest on Friday if it puts you at the back for the […]
X1Znet commented on the post, "No need" to defend hard against Hamilton on last lap – Norris 1 year ago
Yes, it was a fantastic drive by Lewis, but considering only the top 3 get points in Sprint, I think most drivers did not put up much of a fight with him and he might not have gained so much in a regular race.
X1Znet commented on the post, Official: Hamilton loses pole to Verstappen, will start sprint qualifying last 1 year ago
Lewis’s DQ makes the sprint qualifying a million times more interesting than it would have been otherwise.
I almost didn’t read this article because I thought it would be another sprint-is-the-greatest-since-sliced-bread spin-fest but I am relieved to see some acknowledgement of the problems with it. I like this […]

Some people will buy Saturday only tickets and stay home on Sunday to watch the race, since Saturday has usually has many support races while Sunday is taken […]
