For me, favourite car is the Brabham fan car, as referenced by @x303 below. Favourite team would be Lotus and favourite driver is more difficult but I do somewhat worship Jim Clark.

@x303 That’s what I said, they’re all doing it. Red Bull are just the ones to get caught. There’s no good and bad guys in F1, just thousands of people exploiting every loophole on and off track as they have since […]

Herbie Blash is still around btw. I don’t know if he is part of the FIA race operations or he is just there in an advisory role to the race direction. I remember Vettel’s reaction at the time when he was […]Jere commented on the post, Perez warns plan to lower tyre blanket temperatures will 'put drivers at risk' 4 months ago
@x303 True, but I mean somewhat similarly in that without blankets an out-lap will be a struggle to an extent until tyres get fully warm.

I did mention the word mediocre for a reason. I didn’t say he’s the slowest or the fastest, or that any part of his racing is exciting. He’s not got phenomenal pace, outstanding consistency, mega […]

@x303 i agree that not blaming people is healthy but there is a second side of also taking responsibility. In order to improve you need to acknowledge your mistakes and hopefully they are doing this behind the […]
Robbie commented on the post, Wolff condemns rivals for 'disingenuous' and 'pitiful' response to porpoising safety concerns 7 months, 1 week ago
@x303 Fair comment. It is because I am fully aware that each side is going to speak to favour themselves that I don’t consider them hypocritical. I don’t question that porpoising can be dangerous, but I just thi […]

@x303 From what I can see SP’s quotes cited by TW are from early April, about what CAN happen with porpoising, and so he(TW) is trying to manipulate a drivers words the same way he is accusing Horner of doing. I […]

@x303 exactly my thought in reply to “superman”, some people are so much carried out by the hate of a person or a team that they completely overlook the facts.

I’ve never said that, but the truth is foreign to the likes of you.

Then those people made those choices themselves and they get the consequences of their choices.
That is way better than forcing people to do your will.
Tifoso1989 commented on the post, Will F1's new rules mean a return to single team dominance in 2022? 1 year ago
@x303
In every discussion about a potential rule change, every team will try to take advantage and push towards his own agenda. I’ve been always critical of Ferrari for being so superficial on those discussions […]Emma commented on the post, Will F1's new rules mean a return to single team dominance in 2022? 1 year ago
@tifoso1989 – what anon and @x303 are refuting is the notion that Mercedes essentially forced through the hybrid V6 formula because they already had PU designs ready even before the formula was agreed. That is the […]

@x303 You’re right, sorry, I meant Austria 2019. It can’t be a coincidence that it was the same year Charlie Whiting passed away (March) and Masi took over, quickly introducing the ‘hard racing/let them race’ philosophy.
