Hi guys! Going to this year race, and decided to take my chances with the general admission. Last year I was in Baku, and generally hated the grandstand experience. The good ones were way too expensive, and the one I could afford – meh, a stretch of a straight, with cars going by too fast and nothing happening. (Needless to say, I should have gone to this year’s race instead). Anyway, walking along the track I thought that I could see much more stuff from general admission areas. Hence trying it this year at Monza.
I know that a lot of local fans will be there quite early to take the best spots. Any tips on where those best spots are, and how early should I get there to be safe?
Yeah, people on AWD forum (in Russian) also report that many hotels suddenly realised that F1 is coming to town and quadrupled their prices, canceling prior reservations. Booking is working hard to resolve this mess.

Hi guys. Any idea which grandstand is likely better Bulvar or Khazar? Tickets to both cost the same, they both have the same star rating on the official site and both have a giant screen view?

Oh, absolutely. I just find it interesting that the top 4 or 5 “best-investment” drivers are the ones getting a lot of praise and future-champ hype this season, while the group of VET, BUT and RAI are close to the bottom – literally overrated. (Don’t throw stuff at me, I’m BUT and RAI fan).
I have no idea how they come up with the figures (this Business Book GP), and it’s not really the point of interest for me. 11. Catherhamin addition to regularly looking at lineups, i also consider their marketability and pr appeal. hence Lotus at 5: lots of people will be interested in how this pair progresses. compare that to Sauber or (possible) Catherham, that are “meh” at best.
