Alonso to miss qualifying after crash

Fernando Alonso will not participate in qualifying at Monaco following his crash in final practice. Ferrari will have to replace his chassis due to the damage it suffered in his crash at Massenet, 22 minutes into this morning’s session.

Kubica quickest as Alonso crashes in FP3

Robert Kubica continued to show impressive pace around the streets of Monte-Carlo, setting the fastest time in the last practice session before qualifying. But Fernando Alonso’s run of fastest times in practice came to an end when he crashed at Massenet on his sixth lap.

Alonso makes it two in a row in Monaco

Fernando Alonso topped the times in the second practice session at Monaco – just as he did in the first. A few spots of rain towards the end of second practice and the usual traffic problems made life especially tricky for the drivers.

Alonso fastest in Monaco first practice

Fernando Alonso put Ferrari on top in the first practice session ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix. But Red Bull showed they aren’t far off the pace, with Sebastian Vettel lapping within one tenth of a second of Alonso’s time.
