IRL Watkins Glen: Dixon’s hat trick

Scott Dixon completed a hat-trick of IRL victories at Watkins Glen with a measured and tactically shrewd drive. But there were unpleasant scenes after the race as a confrontation between Tony Kanaan and Sam Hornish sparked a pit lane brawl. It began after the pair twice made contact during the race.

British GP 2007 review: Raikkonen takes control

Lewis Hamilton’s bid for home glory faded early in the British Grand Prix. Instead the two drivers many expected to be at the front of this year’s championship battle finally had their first major duel of the year. Kimi Raikkonen’s second consecutive win, ahead of Fernando Alonso, underlined that the Finn is back in business.

WTCC Porto 1 – All-Chevrolet podium

Alain Menu repeated his wins from pole at Zandvoort and Pau with a third victory on the streets of Porto. Chevrolet team mates Rob Huff and Nicola Larini completed the podium after an unsatisfying race dominated by a long safety car period.
