The BMW-Sauber F1.06 was the first Formula 1 car produced by BMW after it took over Sauber for the 2006 season. It was raced by Nick Heidfeld and Jacques Villeneuve, and later by Robert Kubica after he replaced the 1997 world champion in the team’s line-up.
