Williams FW07/FW07C/FW07D (1979-82) pictures

The FW07 was a hugely important car for Williams – it scored their first win and their first two constructors’ championships.

it was used by Alan Jones to win the 1980 world championship and Keke Rosberg raced it at the beginning of his 1982 championship-winning season before it was finally superseded by the FW08.

The team also produced a six-wheeled ‘D’ version which never raced, and was used to develop a six-wheeled version of the FW08:

    Was A.J. testing in Jacarepagua? Because there was no race there in 1979.

    1. It looks like Jarama to me. I think this is where the FW07’s made their race debuts in 1979.
