Kubica quickest in final practice in Korea
Posted onRobert Kubica set the fastest lap of the weekend so far ahead of qualifying for the Korean Grand Prix. The top four teams ended the session separated by less than a tenth of a second as Kubica headed Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber.

Posted onMark Webber lapped quickest in the second practice session at Korea. The Red Bull drivers was the only person to set a sub-98 second lap time. Four different cars occupied the top four places with Fernando Alonso second fastest in front of Lewis Hamilton and Robert Kubica.

Posted onHigh straight-line speeds helped McLaren and Renault to the fastest times in first practice at Korea. Sebastian Vettel used the Red Bull’s superior downforce to go quickest in the second half of the lap at Korea but a lack of straight line speed appeared to be their vulnerability in first practice.

Posted onLewis Hamilton set the fastest time in the first practice session for the Korean Grand Prix. The McLaren driver waited until the final minutes of practice to do his first timed laps of the track after a problem with his rear wing meant it had to be changed.

How Schumacher got stuck behind Rosberg (Japanese Grand Prix analysis)
Posted onMercedes may have missed an opportunity to prevent Michael Schumacher getting stuck behind Nico Rosberg during the Japanese Grand Prix. Schumacher spent 23 laps stuck behind his team mate. Without the delay he might have been able to capitalise on Lewis Hamilton’s later problems to take fifth place.
