In the event competitiveness does not happen naturally, I got some ideas to introduce it artificially.
I haven’t fully thought this out (I know some may end up being rubbish, but as I said, I haven’t fully thought this out):-Add one pound of weight to the car per two points earned.
-Remove one pound of weight from the car per position finished behind 10th place. DNF does not count.
-Use reverse and normal grids throughout the year. Decision of reverse/normal grid is done by coin toss at end of qualifying. Every race has a different driver flip coin live on TV.-Have drivers pull number out of hat dictating amount of fuel they will start the race with.
-Have drivers pull tire out of hat, indicating which tire compound they will start the race with.
-Allow different fuel flow limits during race: 50% of laps with 103kg/hr and 50% of laps with 97kg/hr.
-Have a random number generator control fuel flow for each lap, (so that driver does not know if next lap will be at 97kg or 103kg/hr). - AuthorPosts
