The following teams, drivers and engine suppliers have been confirmed or are expected to take part in the 2024 F1 season.
Each driver can choose their own racing number to use during their career. The reigning world champion has the option of adopting the number ‘1’ or continuing to use his career number.Notes
The team previously known as Alfa Romeo has sold the naming rights to its chassis to a sponsor and will officially be entered as ‘Sauber’ in 2024 and 2025. Red Bull has also changed the name of its junior team, AlphaTauri, to RB.
Max Verstappen has chosen to race using the number ‘1’ this season.
Franco Colapinto replaced Logan Sargeant from the Italian Grand Prix. Oliver Bearman substituted for Carlos Sainz Jnr at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and Kevin Magnussen at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
