For fans of F1 yes @joao-pedro-cq but for attracting new people no. And F1 wants that 50% casual viewers and new potential viewers to further milk the show rather than caring for the sport.

FIA geniuses know that eventually, F1 can get more new fans (and their money) with this shiny new rules, even if in the process they lose “a few” real fans.
