Can a photographer explain what we’re seeing in the following shots:
– What’s up with the ‘fire’ in the background?
– This doesn’t look like a night shot at all
– What’s up with the blue halo on the right?
– What are we seeing?
I can’t get my head around most of these shots around the Bahrein circuit.

– First one is not a fire, it’s some soft lighting against a rock
– It’s not, it’s dusk (these pictures are practice and qualy)
– He’s probably taken the shot from afar, zoomed in, and this is some close light infront of him interfering
– This ones nice! It’s again probably just light interference and how it’s hitting the lens

A bit disappointed with the lack of sparks shots.
I think we’re going to see some epic moments today, we saw Raikkonen passing Maldonado in free practice with a tsunami of Sparks!
