Just stay anywhere near a metro or over here we call it LRT station & u’ll be fine.
U may try these area, KL Sentral itself, China Town (lots of backpackers type of accommodation here) or Bukit Bintang area.
Fingers crossed they shall have GP’s transportation package from KL Sentral.

Yes. For safety reason, the track marshal will ensure all cars are at ‘parc feme’ (wherein the cars are driven back to the pits) Once the track is secured spectators are allowed to dash to the podium area. Hi @cduk_mugello! Just buy from the Sepang Circuit official website. It’s cheaper than certain website and reliable in terms of securing your tickets(s). There are options on the ticket delivery either by mail (with a cost) or pick-up at Box Office counter during the race weekend.

For Friday & even Saturday the traffic should be ok, however on race day either you take the earliest bus (2-3 hours if possible) as you could or take the subway to KL Sentral & take the KLIA Express.
