The 2024 Chinese Grand Prix was round 5 of the 2024 Formula 1 season. It was the 17th Chinese Grand Prix to count towards the world championship.
The race weekend was a sprint event, which meant that in addition to the grand prix a shorter sprint race was also held.

The Chinese Grand Prix was held at Shanghai International Circuit. This is a 5.5-kilometre, 16-turn permanent track which was first used by Formula 1 in 2004.
