@billyos He isn’t part of Ferrari anymore, though. He left the team at the end of 2016/ahead of last season.

@fastiesty @billyos @wsrgo Didn’t have time to mention it until now but live streaming of the races can be found on F1 Fanatic Live in the F3 tab. Tomorrow’s race is at 9:15am UK time so should be shortly after the chequered flag falls in Shanghai. See you there!

I guess Ocon just has to ‘pad’ his superlicence now – he has 40 points, but that’s only for the next three years. In no time, he could be in a Robin Frijns position and left without one. This year, he needs to replace the year that drops off, hopefully getting good results in GP3 before moving up to GP2.

Morris has been coming up for a few years now, usually top 3 in every series he contested.
Ocon, Kirchhoefer, Fuoco – the GP3 podium just got a lot more full of talent. They might all hold a 2016 super-licence..

Fair game, @billyos ! Though Visoiu’s appointment was a real shock. He just said he was retiring a month ago, and honestly I have very little confidence he’ll crack the top 20 given how much he struggled to progress in GP3.

Don’t think so. They will need to get another pay driver in the other race seat and will hope to get some coffer filling 3rd/test/occasional FP1 drivers too to make it through the season @billyos

@billyos Yes, he has, and Latifi has been confirmed at Arden, alongside SMP-backed Orudzhev. Van Buuren is in at Lotus alongside Vaxiviere. Over half the seats are now confirmed! Yet only 4 in GP3..
