Alonso for reducing that poor excuse of a race by a whole lap.

Sebastian: “Okay Mika.”

Urgh, absolutely not! Just when I was starting to enjoy the racing again…

Whenever I see any comment such as the one Verstappen has made, I always reply with this question: “well who is going to supply them?”
Because I cannot think of too many names off the top of my head.

Grosjean for me. I didn’t expect the Haas to be that far up the field. It looked like an absolutely incredible qualifying lap.

7/10.
Intriguing, as opposed to exciting. Some big questions to be asked about the performance of the top three teams. A great midfield battle, and some great passes in there which weren’t completed halfway […]

Craig Woollard commented on the post, Hamilton relieved Mercedes put testing "struggles" behind them 6 years, 2 months ago
I’d like to know what he thinks McLaren’s situation is then… Because that is beyond struggling.
Hamilton has certainly started 2017 perfectly.

Craig Woollard commented on the post, Should F1 ban 'shark fins'? 6 years, 2 months ago
Don’t care. Why is this even a discussion when F1 should be tackling more important problems? First real mistake Brawn has made to be honest bar deciding that exploring budget cap ideas.
Some of them look ace, […]

Craig Woollard commented on the post, Force India seeking Australian GP fixes – Perez 6 years, 3 months ago
The only realistic option for Alonso may be Renault, but I’m not convinced that they are putting the right people in the right places, although I’m expecting them to make big gains this year. Sure, they’re […]

Craig Woollard commented on the post, F1 will not bring back V10 or V12 engines – Todt 6 years, 3 months ago
We should look forward, not backward.
Anyhow, who would even build V10s or V12s for F1 now let alone conceive the thought of running factory teams with them?

Usually I completely skip looking through the galleries… But this year? Nope. I have to look at every single one. These cars are generally gorgeous from a multitude of angles, and I simply cannot get over how […]

Indy isn’t as much of a physical challenge as say Phoenix or Iowa, where the percentage of time spent turning is far greater. You also haven’t brought up that IndyCar drivers race without power steering, and their […]

I’m curious to know why the Williams (and the Haas which has just been leaked on Twitter) are so simplistic in the sidepod areas compared to the likes of McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes.
I’m also wondering whether T9 is easy flat or not. It would give us a good indicator as to which corners are now flat this season. I only seem to remember it being…[Read more]

Craig Woollard commented on the post, Pictures: McLaren reveal new car and orange livery 6 years, 3 months ago
I love the shape. The front wing looks bonkers and are those sidepods at an odd angle? The livery could be much better though, especially given the worrying lack of sponsorship. Orange is a great colour to use on […]

Craig Woollard commented on the post, Stadium sections: Great viewing spots or the scourge of modern F1 tracks? 6 years, 3 months ago
I think we should have some stadium sections. They certainly do add something really neat to a track I feel. But should every track have one? No way. We need more and more variation within F1. Mexico’s stadium […]
