Now, if only Lewis was genuine too, could be a great relationship. (:
d0senbrot commented on the post, Russian drivers banned from competing in Britain by Motorsport UK 6 months, 3 weeks ago
I’m afraid that a collective punishment of Russian citizens will send the wrong message to the people. It suits Putins (CCPs too) narrative of a pretentious, self-righteous and hypocritical western society.
d0senbrot commented on the post, Verstappen emphatically beat his latest team mate in title-winning year 9 months, 1 week ago
Definitely strange. The only explanation I can think of is that Perez is an extremely popular driver, while Bottas has often been ridiculed in recent years and his strengths (Qualifying) are regularly […]
d0senbrot commented on the post, Wolff – Horner and I "overstepped" in radio messages to Masi in 2021 9 months, 1 week ago
This is not an honest way to own up to your mistakes. It’s the typical “I did wrong, but so did others” kind of excuse. Damage limitation. Not that Horner would do it any different.

I’m sure he’ll be doing fine with the occasional annoucement of sustainability breakthroughs such as “trackside straws are now bio-degradable”.

You can’t make this stuff up. Brilliant!
d0senbrot commented on the post, Hamilton: Bottas 'left the door open for Verstappen' at the start 10 months, 3 weeks ago
It wasn’t intentional, just incompetence. Bottas is a great qualifier, but his racecraft is mostly subpar. At least he didn’t cause another carnage. Still I think Lewis should have kept his mouth shut. Same with […]
Bottas was always going to be a sitting duck starting P1, but it could have been Hamilton leading into turn one. I’m not so sure, Max would have been able to overtake Lewis on track, as Perez never even came close […]
Even though Max had a significant pace advantage, clearing both Mercedes at the start was very important today. And he got lucky with Bottas being spun out, too. This could have turned out differently if the Mercs […]

The drivers only now what they need to know – how to use it.
But even if shown all blueprints, they would not be able to make any sense of it, I’m sure.
d0senbrot commented on the post, Hamilton and Verstappen blame each other over crash and lap one incident 1 year ago
It’s fine to be emotional about the incident, as others were over Silverstone. But attacking other fans is just low.
d0senbrot commented on the post, Hamilton predicts Russell will 'bring the heat' at Mercedes 1 year ago
No one can predict what their relationship will be like. But when two ambitious talents get in each other’s way, it’s rare that one of them backs down. If Russell reaches Hamilton’s high level and Mercedes is […]
d0senbrot commented on the post, Hamilton: Russell has earned his place at Mercedes 1 year ago
If Hamilton wins his eighth title, he could retire as a legend at the end of the year, and Russell would not be able to potentially diminish his legacy in any way possible.
d0senbrot commented on the post, Official: Russell to join Hamilton at Mercedes in 2022 1 year ago
If Russell really performs on Hamiltons level or even higher, I only see more pressure inside Mercedes, a potential toxic athmosphere and team mates taking points from each other. In that case Toto Wolff will have […]
d0senbrot commented on the post, Russell "absolutely buzzing" after claiming shock front row start for Williams 1 year ago
To avoid another clash with a struggling Bottas, Russell made sure to start in front of him this time.
d0senbrot commented on the post, Ocon snatches first win with a little help from Alonso – and Mercedes 1 year, 1 month ago
The moment the penalties for restricted parts are lifted for innocently damaged cars, any accident, no matter how small, will require an engine swap, according to the teams.
The rules need to be changed, but it […]
Christian has often overshot the mark with his comments, but in this case it was a completely normal reaction that anyone else would have made. I am surprised at the high number of gloating and spiteful comments […]
@red-andy Usually the starting procedure will be aborted if it is delayed or for a safety concern. There seems to be no rule for this precedent, so they might just go ahead with the five lights, regardless of an empty grid.
