dusty commented on the post, F1 announces new Overtake Award for driver who makes most passes 1 year, 5 months ago
I don’t see the point. I’m sure some people are loving the opportunity but to me it seems a waste of energy.
But the award is cool.dusty commented on the post, How Formula E's incredible, 18-way world championship finale came about 1 year, 5 months ago
I tried to use the symbols “smaller than” and “greater than” but the system didn’t like it.
I meant to start my post with:
Championship leader with less than 100 points after 16 rounds
More than 50 points […]dusty commented on the post, How Formula E's incredible, 18-way world championship finale came about 1 year, 5 months ago
50 points available in the last weekend
There is a line somewhere between a competitive championship and points awarded randomly.
Typically 16 rounds is enough to award points and sort teams and drivers […]

The biggest difference between Perez and Gasly is Ferrari 2019 could qualify and race in front of RBR on merit*.
To be ranked higher than Gasly/Albon, he needs to consistently qualify 1/4 from Max and stay […]

Airbourne? Is that a band name? Because it’s the music city gp? Cool! :D

I know it’s not easy for a Hamilton fan to understand, but the world doesn’t spin around your favorite driver. The protest is an attempt to recover a podium and 18 points for AMR and SV, not to take 2 points a […]

Perez also achieved a first under the current engine rules. No other driver has won races with more than one team or engine supplier in this time.
Should we count Max for RBR Renault and then RBR Honda?
dusty commented on the post, Tuscan GP 'the best chance of a two-stopper in a while' 2 years, 4 months ago
Imagine if they could take 1 minute to explain the public that the ICE modes are banned, but there is still a thing called ERS deployment profile that changes from Q to R, and through the race. Apparently lots of […]

Japanese kid wearing Vettel’s helmet, picture caption: “Sebastian Vettel (GER)”. I can’t wait to see him on the car, not sure if he can reach the pedals though.

The world of F1 is so crazy that Ricciardo had a contract for next year with Renault, but lost it just a couple of paragraphs later. It really feels like you had a bad dream, woke up and tried to write it down […]

To mention only two out of several examples available, I wonder if the COTD poster remembers Hungary 2018… Or if they noticed GIO at Melbourne…
dusty commented on the post, Should Monaco be the same length as every other F1 race? 3 years, 8 months ago
if Monaco is going to remain an 85% race distance event, it should only pay 85% points.
Yes, because that’s what happens if a race is red flagged at 85% distance, RIGHT?
dusty commented on the post, Will Ferrari tell Leclerc to follow Vettel again… again? Azerbaijan GP talking points 3 years, 9 months ago
I don’t understand why people talk about Bottas like he was dominating the GP before the tire failure. It was Ferrari and Vettel dominating the GP with a large margin until the RBR crashed at the perfect time for […]

Okay, but do you know which Ferrari driver led the most odd numbered race laps in the last 8 race weekends where the sun rises on the left side of the Start/Finish line? Coincidence?

The Chinese GP is not well received by the American audience so ESPN will broadcast the Bahrain GP again, it was a good race.

Yes, as we have seem in many races in the past years, the lack of proper wet weather tires is limiting cars running when it rains.

I don’t think it would be possible to come up with a tweet worse than that. I hope Haas keeps doing well in testing, I just want to watch how far RE can go embarassing themselves and the team they sponsor.
