Only one team has scored points with both cars in the last two races. It’s Williams!
Quite extraordinary.

@banana88x Wow – well done!
11 out of 20 current drivers are now race winners.
I’ll go for Norris to be winner no. 112. -

Had Russell won in Sakhir, I’d be tempted to say Perez in a Red Bull.
I’ll say Russell. Not sure if it’ll be in 2020 or 2022, but I don’t expect anyone else taking their first victory beforehand – of course there’s a chance of a surprise.
Sainz would be my next choice for 2022.

Noone said Gasly! :)
Very tough to choose the 110th winner. I’ll say Sainz, even if that might be in 2022. Can’t think of anyone more likely to win by then than him. Stroll might have a chance, or perhaps whoever drives alongside Verstappen next year.
@ben-n Thanks – so do I!

@warheart Yep, that’s the latest I can remember as well. Now we’ve got two! Three if you count Vettel.

Sainz and Ricciardo sign for 2021 before the 2020 season has even begun. I can’t think of any recent examples of that: has that happened in the past decade or so? Obviously it’s already May, but still, interesting.

@ben-n Thanks!
I like your answers. Alonso really is so tough, given his career. I think of him as a Ferrari driver, despite his two stints with Renault and McLaren, and his success at Renault. Perhaps that would’ve been different had I followed F1 as closely in mid 2000s as I did later. Petrov I’d have easily said Renault. Interesting :)

Really enjoying this series. 2000 was the year I started watching F1 at six years of age. I can still remember cheering on Hakkinen at Spa with my family. And I believe I still have an audio tape at home on which […]

I’m a bit bored in isolation, so I was recently thinking about this. How will we remember F1 drivers – by driving for which team?
It’s easy for some – when we think of Mika Hakkinen, we picture him driving a McLaren, as he did for most of his career. I suppose we will always associate Michael Schumacher with Ferrari, despite his success at…[Read more]

Enigma commented on the post, Russell wary of Latifi's potential: "On paper he's a rookie but in reality he's not" 3 years, 3 months ago
Most drivers do that, yeah. I liked how Maldonado, I believe in 2012, praised his Williams, saying it’s so fast ‘even Bruno’ Senna made Q3.

Agreed. The handling of that incident sends the message that it’s okay to push someone off, as long as you only do it once. And that’s a dangerous precedent.

I’m prety sure Albon will end up ahead. A couple of podiums and he’s there …

It’s no surprise Leclerc has won his first Grand Prix.
But who will be the next new winner?
Renault does not look like joining the top 3 teams at the front in 2020, so I’d have to say Albon. Red Bull will be in contention for several victories in the rest of the season, so he’s got to have a chance – even if noone really expects him to be beating…[Read more] -
