Especially since he seems to be putting some distance between himself and Ricciardo. And it appears to be Verstappen improving rather than Ricciardo going backwards.

Agree that it’s tough to get ‘mugged’ of a result by headrest, but I feel more sorry for the guy who got ‘held up at gunpoint’ of yet another result due to terminal car failure.

His pole lap was amazing, but he made many mistakes during FP and even on some quality runs. And this could be a track where you can make an easy mistake when cruising up front ;)

The contrarians are those who did not believe he should ever be in F1 because daddy is rich, and he decided to train very hard before he entered F1.
