Fer no.65 commented on the post, F1 drivers didn't miss Catalunya's chicane, but did they find overtaking easier? 16 hours, 56 minutes ago
I don’t really care if it improved overtaking. The fact that it’s a challenging corner in itself, that also makes the last corner even more challenging, is a major plus. The old chicane didn’t help overtaking […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, The pressure is off Perez now points gap to Verstappen is so large – Horner 1 day, 17 hours ago
I’m a big fan of Webber, and I don’t mean that he got the best of Vettel on talent, but he did play the political game. The not bad for a number 2 thing, he fought his corner hard. Sergio’s never going to do that…

Fer no.65 commented on the post, The pressure is off Perez now points gap to Verstappen is so large – Horner 1 day, 23 hours ago
Nice tap on the shoulders, isn’t it? In any case, he’s right. Now Perez can be a happy person trying to win the odd race instead of forcing a dream of a championship fight that was never going to happen. […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Palou wins incident-packed Detroit race to extend IndyCar points lead 2 days, 4 hours ago
This was such a fun race, specially coming from the F1 snorefest. Sure the track was horrible but these guys made a race out of it, that Rossi rosenqvist scrap at the end was superb, and the whole foeld were […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, F1 drivers speak up for Catalunya track amid rumours of Madrid bid for Spanish GP 5 days, 1 hour ago
This place often gives boring races, but I expect this year, with the changes, to be much better. That said, replacing it with a lame-o street track would suck. There are way too many of those these days, it […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Verstappen surpasses Vettel as winner of most races for Red Bull 6 days ago
Germany (Britain 2008 – Italy 2017, 176 races) Interesting that streak happened post-Schumi (ish). I guess with only the top 6 scoring, Frentzen, Ralf, Heidfeld back in the late 90s, early 2000s didn’t help Michael…

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Will Alonso deliver dream win for home fans? Seven Spanish GP talking points 1 week ago
Weather-wise it’s not been like last year at all, last week it rained a lot, so the temperatures are not as high as we get around this time. So it’ll be warm, but not ridiculosuly so.

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Hamilton crane operator "probably worked for Cirque du Soleil", jokes Wolff 1 week, 2 days ago
@tifoso1989 I mean he said so, he said he’s not the kind of team principal that blames people, but still said it.

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Sainz wants special qualifying format in Monaco as Q1 is "too dangerous" 1 week, 3 days ago
No we don’t. It’s a known fact that traffic is an issue at Monaco, plan your runs accordingly…

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Hamilton crane operator "probably worked for Cirque du Soleil", jokes Wolff 1 week, 3 days ago
Don’t crash then. He’s not the kind of team principal that blames people doing their job but he felt the need to make this remark anyway.

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Williams invite fans to choose which special Gulf livery they will race 1 week, 4 days ago
I like the heritage one, but yeah… they aren’t that bold for a special livery.

Fer no.65 commented on the post, "No reason" why Alonso won't drive an Aston Martin-Honda in 2026 – Krack 1 week, 5 days ago
I don’t think anyone saw him competing this well this far into his career. Imagine telling yourself in 2013 that 10 years later he’d still be driving in F1.

Fer no.65 commented on the post, McLaren reveals special 'Triple Crown'-inspired livery for Monaco Grand Prix 2 weeks ago
Wish they ran this the whole year instead of the hideous livery they usually run. It’s such an awful mess of colours… This one looks good even with the google chrome wheel covers.

Fer no.65 commented on the post, F1's engine noise debate went quiet. Does it still need to turn up the volume? 2 weeks ago
Noise is never secondary. There’s a reason why everyone was crazy about it in Abu Dhabi 2020 when Alonso was doing those demo runs in the Renault R25. There’s an interview with Hamilton as Alonso is on track and […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, F1 'can't intervene' to make championship more competitive – Domenicali 3 weeks, 1 day ago
Replace “cannot” with “shouldn’t”. Every week we have pundits saying “should F1 change this or that to make racing more competitive?”, but the fact of hte matter is that stability brings the field together. If […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Palou sees off Lundgaard and McLaren trio for emphatic Indianapolis GP win 3 weeks, 2 days ago
I didn’t see the compounds in any of the graphics. The commentators talk about some of the drivers but not all, plus you need to be paying attention at the time. The americans are fascinated by stats, you see […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Haas must aim to "take a big step like Aston Martin" – Magnussen 3 weeks, 2 days ago
It’s one thing to wish for a massive leap like that and another one to actually try and achieve it. Haas doesn’t have the resources, you never hear them talk about investment, or hiring the clever people in the […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Palou sees off Lundgaard and McLaren trio for emphatic Indianapolis GP win 3 weeks, 3 days ago
I’ve been watching all the races this season (not just the 500 as I used to do) because of Canapino. I’m surprised at how little info they give you on the telly. Appart from gaps and push-to-pass left, why can’t […]

Fer no.65 commented on the post, F1 to introduce new tyres from British Grand Prix for safety reasons 3 weeks, 4 days ago
Exactly… every year Pirelli goes “oh, we didn’t expect this level of performance” but always happens, specially if the technical regulations see little change between seasons.
