I was an OK race, I gave it a 6/10. No real surprises.
Just kidding, straight 10/10. Incredible race. Ocon, Vettel and Alonso were standouts. Could have been an Alpine 1-2 if Alonso wasn’t held up in the carnage.

Red Bull are fighting for their first genuine constructors title for 8 years. There is no way they sabotage that by having one car not full up-to-spec. It seems like you have a theory and are willing to reach for […]
Only reason he had 6 penalty points when he quit at the end of 2018 was because he knew he was leaving the sport and exceeded track limits on three occasions at the closing stages of the final race which earned […]
@sihrtogg Hamilton was the one who cut the entire first chicane in Mexico 2016 while gaining about 3-4 seconds in the process.

@niefer Literally every point you made (barring maybe the second one) is opinion, and not fact. Either acquaint yourself with the differences between the two, or refrain from passing your opinion off as fact next time.

With the new front wings, it appears like there is a lower chance for punctures when a car’s front wing hits the rear tyre of another car as the sharp edge seems to be above the height of the tyre. Hopefully this […]
@jerejj Of course they could, but it wouldn’t be cheap given the length of contract unless there are stipulations in the clauses that allow Alpine to sack him for no fee before the end of the contract. I hope t […]
Shame Alpine have given Ocon a 3 year deal when they have a gem like Piastri in their books. I know Piastri could come in for Alonso, but I certainly wouldn’t trust Ocon as the team leader. An Alonso-Piastri l […]

Stroll has been in F1 for 4.5 years now. Generally, after someone has been in F1 that long, we don’t often see someone getting much quicker. What tends to improve is their decision making and racecraft (like H […]
I have always said, they should really have a “realistic” mode whereby the dirty air effect, slipstream and tyre wear are enhanced to similar levels to real life. In reality, when an F1 car is following another […]
Mashiat commented on the post, Who should Mercedes hire as Hamilton's team mate for 2022? 3 weeks, 5 days ago
He is quite a good driver and would be the lead in most other teams. I must say, I disagree with this. While this is purely hypothetical, in the same car, I would back Verstappen, Leclerc, Sainz, Norris, […]

@f1frog Largely agree, but Alonso 87, Leclerc 90, Norris 88, Sainz 88 and Russell 86 would probably be more accurate for me. It’s not that long ago that Norris was second best to Sainz.
Mashiat commented on the post, Flat-out Styrian GP showed how far behind McLaren really are – Seidl 1 month ago
@dbradock I think what Seidl is saying is that when everyone goes largely flat-out, the true extent of the advantage of Red Bull and Mercedes over the likes of McLaren and Ferrari are shown. Last year, McLaren was […]

@balue Do you genuinely believe the Red Bull was the faster race car in Portimao and Spain? Imola wasn’t even a straight fight, so that can’t be counted.
I don’t necessarily agree with that. Raikkonen continued to struggle at Ferrari even after Alonso left, so I think we were just seeing what Raikkonen was as a driver at that time. Of course, the car didn’t suit […]
