Yeah, would be nice. Not sure if mine have been submitted either.

The question is if there is an option for a sabbatical during that period, and whether Alonso would be eligible for the young driver test in 2104 if he utilises it.

I was under the impression that the purpose of that chicane was to reduce speeds into the final corner due to increased F1 speeds and a fairly small run-off area.

I’m thinking about taking the plunge for these a little bit down the line. I have heard some things about Fanatec’s extremely poor post-sale customer service and some reliability issues which is giving me pause though.

Interesting take on it and I respect his experience in the matter.
I can’t help but feel that his issues with many of the liveries partly arise from a very thinly veiled dislike of the shape of the cars.

@keithcollantine Thanks Keith – it’s basically how low the rear stand is under your bottom. Having had a look at the Amazon pictures, it doesn’t look quite so low.
Thanks for this review. As someone who’s […]

The only concern I have is that it might be too low for my desk. Does anyone have any idea how high this sits off the ground?

Lewis clearly wasn’t 100% recovered. In the Sky interview, he said he was physically “destroyed” after the race.
You do wonder whether George would have done a better job in Lewis’ car today.

Utter, total yawnathon. I had major hopes that having Max at the front would lead to some fun battles, alas no.
Every pass DRS aided sweep-by.
This track should have been dropped years ago, but money speaks.

I should add that fuel fires are not the same as explosions in terms of how quickly they release the energy, but it gives you an idea of how much energy is available.
Mouse_Nightshirt commented on the post, The urgent questions F1 must answer following Grosjean's fireball crash 4 months, 1 week ago
It might seem hard to believe but it’s true.
TNT has an energy density of 4.184 MJ/kg. Petrol has an energy density of 34.2 MJ/litre.
Therefore 10 litres of fuel is 342 MJ/litre, which would be equivalent […]
Mouse_Nightshirt commented on the post, Hamilton: Pirelli's new 2021 tyres are "worse" despite two years' development 4 months, 2 weeks ago
So, when the mass blowouts happened at Silverstone this year, it was blamed on the fact we were essentially using 2019 spec tyres, and the proposed 2020 tyres would have survived.
So, bets we’ll have mass […]
Mouse_Nightshirt commented on the post, Ferrari now support engine freeze, suggest possibility of 'converging' performance 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Is this a rather obtuse way of admitting their engines last year were superior because they were somehow sneaking through a higher fuel flow rate than the regulations allowed?
Mouse_Nightshirt commented on the post, Did Stroll's Turkish GP performance end the "pay driver" debate? 4 months, 3 weeks ago
I do wonder if the track was getting too dry for his new inters not to grain in the first place. If he’d pitted 4-5 laps sooner, with the track a bit damper, maybe his inters tread would have worn down more […]
