@reg Its not simply about track conditions, Its also the lack of visibility.
If somebody spins in Eau Rouge or aquaplanes on the straight with no visibility cars behind will just plough into them at full speed. […]
@HoHum commented on the post, Ferrari's fight is more with McLaren than Red Bull – Sainz 4 months, 3 weeks ago
@reg, Yes, and 800+km races are where refuelling belongs. :)
Dave commented on the post, Bottas could have five wins without unlucky "freak events" – Wolff 10 months, 3 weeks ago
@reg gotta push back a bit there. Bottas has consistently improved his qualy pace since joining in 2017. First half of the season he was damn close. Lewis seemed to find another gear yet again in the last few […]
@reg I didn’t expect a response. While I was re-reading through old articles (something I tend to do during each off-season), I decided to reply to some of them even if doing that to old posts 99% of the time useless.
isaac commented on the post, Hamilton won't be appreciated until he's retired – Wolff 2 years, 8 months ago
@reg I think Rosberg is more appreciated since he retired, and for several reasons.
– Hamilton has been on top of his game the last 2 years since Rosberg left (which makes Rosberg look really good as he was able […]

@reg At least they didn’t do the same on the Williams. Although Martini stripes look good on pretty much anything.
Jere commented on the post, No proper fix for F1's passing problem before 2021 – Brawn 3 years, 6 months ago
@reg Shanghai, not Beijing. Furthermore, DRS has never really been too powerful there nor at COTA, and Interlagos and ‘definitely’ not Suzuka. Not even in Spa and Montreal to the same extent as before the […]

I predict 1994 more than 1997. I hope that I am wrong for the sake and safety of our drivers.
I know exactly what you mean. I think the increase in car width will catch many out. I know it shouldn’t […]
montreal95 commented on the post, No Le Mans clash for Azerbaijan's renamed race on new 2017 calendar 4 years, 10 months ago
@reg Please try to read more carefully before commenting. Although I wrote “is” instead of “was” while mentioning Montreal & Baku back to back, it was quite clear from the context that I was referring to 2016, as […]
David Not Coulthard commented on the post, Ferrari not involved in talks on Monza's F1 future 6 years, 1 month ago
@reg Replace “Hockenheim” with “Nuerburgring” though…..
And I think AUT should be on here too. Probably The circuit Gilles Villeneuve as well. Magny-Cours…probably not, but there are other French circuits […]
Well @reg, the point here was that until the stewards decided that what Hamilton did was controversial AFTER the race, nobody had thought it was, and it was the first time we ever saw it interpreted that way out of the blue.
@reg i agree,
so many people complaining which have short memories about yesteryear it is getting beyond a joke,
they certainly dont remember the boring race’s we had to watch year after year, i would fall […]
petebaldwin commented on the post, How to design a better points system for Formula One 6 years, 11 months ago
@reg – Good point about damaged cars driving around. It would be something they’d have to control somehow.
I’m one of those who love the back half of the grid and that’s exactly why I suggested what I did. I […]
Fer no.65 commented on the post, Hamilton-Rosberg battle is 'groundbreaking' – Wolff 7 years, 1 month ago
@reg hard to compare 2007 and 2010. Alonso was already leaving the team, so the mood was a bit down.
At Red Bull, even if they prefered Vettel, Webbo had aaaaaaaaall the chances to stay ahead. He lost it all at […]
@reg Indeed, in fact Nico isn’t much quoted in the article. But I find the article title as well as the round-up title quite misleading.
Globally, the Mercedes engine has more mileage than any other and has […]
